Comfrey Roots
When I received my 3 root pieces, they seemed a little small, but one had already started growing in the bag that it was shipped in. There were no planting instructions, but I put them into small pots of potting soil. The already sprouted one began to green up and grow., Now a 2nd one has started to grow. I am waiting for the 3rd one to sprout. I am very excited that they are growing. Since it is winter, I will leave them in the pots and I will plant them outside in the spring when the weather warms up. Don't give up because they seem small. Give them time and they will grow. I planted all at the end of November and by January 1st, the 2nd one that showed no growth when I received it, sprouted and began to grow. I am keeping them both in a sunny window and water them when the soil seems dry. Hopefully with time, the 3rd one will sprout as well.

Healthy roots! Update video! So impressed
The media could not be loaded. Worth the buy… very healthy. At first I got 7 out of 10 to grow. When I was reusing the soil from the 3 that didn’t sprout yet I found that I planted them too deep. So I pulled them up and they all grew ! These root sprouted very healthy plant growth🪴 I would recommend💕Update video. I am an organic Gardener and I have to say this is one of my best buys on A 🤓 This comfrey is growing in abundance! I have enough to make my salve and comfrey tea for my compost. So so impressed.

It’s mid may and the root was started in February. Nothin! Nada!
It arrived in Feb.looking rather sad , a very small root with some hairy roots .I followed planting instructions and put it is a pot to start indoors right away. Truthful y it did not look viable.Sometime in March i transferred the contents to one of my comfrey patches, my intention was to bring in some fresh stock to an established space. It’s mid may now and there’s nothing growing. However my other bocking 14 plants are growing robustly, like weeds. The seller says to exhume the tiny root for inspection. Which seems pointless. If thats their plan I will just cut to the chase and take root from one of my plants and start over.I imaging that had i ordered the four pack i would have some success, but their price for those little chunks is sort of ridiculous. Its comfrey Basically once established it grows anywhere and like a weed.Stick a shovel next to one you’ll get more roots than you need.

2/3 grew within a couple weeks. Zone 8b.
I put roots in seperate trays w/ moist fresh dirt. After a week, the one on north east facing (covered) porch had root growth, much more than the one i had under lights inside, & 3rd in a bright window had no growth. As of 15 days after april 1st delivery they're all on the northeast porch and the 2 have growth above dirt and have been placed in their forever homes, i intend to use a cut gallon jug to protect if wind or rain is nuts. Btw I sprayed w/ h2o a couple times cuz the specks of water on the plastic covering were smaller, n dirt was dull/ not as shiney.

Took a year but very happy
I bought these last year. They did not do much last year but I left them alone over winter and this is them now. I did lose one out of the three. But very happy with my results.
