Excellent price and product. I changed all ceiling lights in the house and decide to go with this product. I installed 40 lights and after one year only one has been replaced. Stop working suddenly. Flush system perfect for any kind of ceiling specially low. Modern look and good quality and ilumination.

So far so good. Only to test dimmability now.

I like these lights for ease of installation. And they look good when installed. Only problem is that you will likely encounter at least 2-3 out of the 24 that will fail within the first year. I did. Luckily, if you have extras, they are not hard to replace...if you know what you are doing.

Great recess lights. I have been using them in several houses.

After sending me 15 new lights, one year later, I need about 20 more.... Same complaints! The plastic tabs holding the springs break. So they fall from the ceiling and hang. I have 2 hanging down as I type this. Another 10 are burned out in less than a year. I just had to buy another 24 pack to try to replace all of the inop or broken ones. I will have some extras, but I don't feel like having to change ALL of them to a new brand. I feel sorry for the poor bastard that buys my home... To make good on my promise, I am updating this review based on the great customer service from Sunco. I contacted the manufacturer through their website and they asked for images of the back of the lights that apparently gave them manufacture batch dates so they could track any manufacturing issues. They have shipped replacements. I cannot ask for anything more.... I will leave the original review below for prospective buyer info. I bought 72 of these lights for a new construction project that finished about 4 months ago. Very easy to install, sleek looking, and has great color and brightness. However, in that short time, I've had to replace about 8 lights where the plastic tip that holds the springs on, breaks off. See pics. I suspect that the heat generated by the lights causes the plastic to become brittle and since the spring is constantly under pressure, they eventually shear off. I've also had 3 recently burn out and stop working. Not a huge deal as you expect to replace some lights now and then, but I have 15' - 20' ceilings, so it becomes very "inconvenient." The description claims a 7-year warranty. I will update this review if they make good on the warranty.

I’ve been an electrician for over 30 years. I’ve been waiting for these to come out. No more remodel cans!!! I installed 20 of these in 3 bedrooms and our living room where there were no lights, only ceiling fans. Most of the work could be done below. Even if you hit a ceiling joist, they fit like nothing is there. I have spray foam insulation on the roof so the install was much easier. I also replaced 3 mushroom lights in closets. Just knock the box off and wire those suckers up. The only issue is that the j-boxes do not come with connectors. A plastic snap-in connector is an excellent choice, Arlington NM94-25 Black Button Push-In NM Cable Connector, 3/8 Trade Size, Fits 1/2-Inch Knock Outs, Black, 25-Pack, as found here on Amazon.

We purchased a 20 yr old house last year that has old canned lights in every single room - and a ton of them. After 1 month, half the bulbs were burned out. I started investigating how to replace them or just get rid of them all together and ran into these conversion kits. It takes less than 2 min to put in. The holes in my ceiling are 6 inch and the old lights span over 7 inch. These cover the old holes perfectly. They are LED and won't need changing for a very long time. Worth every penny. I went with soft white because I have so many of them. Best part - these are dimmable so I can lower the brightness easily after replacing the wall switch. No more up and down ladders changing out old bulbs for me!
