This has been used in anger for months now - in a semi-"production" scenario for splitting an HDMI signal being pushed to a projector in a live environment (a church).It's has a solid metal case, doesn't get hot, and we've experienced no issues with HDMI handshakes etc (which have been an issue on other branded splitters). There's a power LED, but no indicator as to whether each port is connected or not - also no reset switch. That said, unlike other brands, I've not had a need to "try the reset switch" nor to "visually verify if a given output is sync'd".
