The lamp was not too difficult to assemble, and has a sturdy base so won't topple over. It has a wide top which allows the light to be directed onto reading matter or craft work and it emits a clear light which makes reading easy. It fits its description and I am very pleased with it. Delivery was also quick and within its estimated time.

Easy to assemble, and has a very good light output. There was just one screw supplied, despite the assembly instructions, and it was too small to use either of the threaded holes in the base fixing cylinder unit.There is only one clearance hole in the lower pole to fit the "screws". Fortunately I managed to find a larger and slightly longer screw (from putting together numerous PCs!) that did the job.Would have been 5 stars if it weren't for this.

Amazon packaging dreadful, arrived early 👍🏻The light is better than I expected. Elegant yet modern. Love the 3 different lights modes , less wires having lamp and charger built in. Added bonus of timer. Just love it was for office but this one will stay in bedroom and off to order another one. 10/10.

This is quite a difficult review to write because there is nothing intrinsically wrong with the lamp.It appears to be well made and is robust enough.My problem is with the quality of the light emitted.If, like me you have not used a "daylight lamp" before,the light is very different to anything else you will have experienced.I was expecting it to be similar to a halogen light but it isn't. It is far far "whiter".I have only had this lamp for a couple of days and maybe I will get used to it but at the moment I do not like it at all.Caveat emptor.

The lamp arrived on time and was well packaged. What should have been very simple assembly of three parts was in truth a nightmare. The column with the wires inside pushes into the base and is secured with a small screw. The same attachment is used for the flexible head. What should have taken 10 minutes left me struggling for nearly an hour. I am reasonably fit and strong, but it proved impossible to push the column far enough into the base socket to align the screw with the screw hole. Finally I gave up and hammered it into position, with a piece of wood used to protect the end of the column.An otherwise well designed and effective lamp was spoiled by a badly made assembly method. If you don't want to risk a heart attack, reach for the hammer at the start.

this was purchased by me for a disabled relative who commented how good it is. it comes in pieces so needs to be put together (base , upright , head) the screws are small and if you have limited finger movement it is best to let someone else fix it together. the base is heavy to allow it to stand and not fall over, the arm is bendable so when sitting in a chair the light is in the desired position . the light is nice and bright but not so bright as in your face. the colour which is grey is a nice shade not to dark. overall my relative is very impressed with it as she could not find anything in any shop that she liked

I bought this lamp because I needed to improve the lighting in the attic room I use as a painting studio. After the good reviews I read, I think I expected the lamp to give me daylight in the whole room which is a pretty unreasonable expectation. The lamp does give me a good, white light on the painting I am working on but I need to position it very carefully if I am standing in front of a large canvas or I am in my own light. I stand the lamp on a box to give it a better height ( I am 5'5'' and it comes to my shoulder). All in all, it gives a good light in a small area at a very good price. Just don't expect too much.

The product arrived on time and I am delighted (pun) with it. I suffer from cataracts, not big enough yet to have them treated, so I have to rely on light to be able to read small print. It has a very heavy base, and although I did manage to fit the 2 well covered wires into the head of the light I did personally find it difficult to house the 2 well covered wires in to the base, It is a very well made product and it has a powerful bright white light, and it is perfect for me. I can even read small print with out my glasses, as I can in sunlight. The grey colour is a very light grey and looks good.
