The main element I was after was price. The next element was being a three prong device. When these two variables were satisfied, I purchased it. Now instead of cardboard covering the power socket, I use this device.

I just need a few set of the cover and this portion was just right and the price is also great. I am not a fan of having to get more than needed and the rest ends up in a landfill.Of course, the cover works very well. I use these indoors and outdoors to keep any exposed outlets safe. I live in a RV so it's a little complicated. I strongly prefer safety wherever I can effect it. My favorite aspect is that it plugs into the ground conductor as well, adding a little extra sturdiness and protection from the elements. The only thing I don't like is that the retractable tab is almost impossible to extend when you try to remove it. I mean, that's great if you have kids, but kids aren't the reason I'm using these. Therefore, I always keep those tabs loose. No big deal. Definitely a helpful and cool Amazon find and I'm grateful for the ones I've installed so far.

When engine block heater is not plugged into extension cord, water or snow can enter the extension cord socket holes making it hard to plug the block heater in later or unplug after it has been plugged in.Tried some other things to protect the socket holes, but they didn't work as well as hoped.This fills all 3 holes and both inserts and removes easily (the pull handle helps removal).Admittedly was only able to try late in the season, as I only found them as weather was warming.But next winter I will get to evaluate them better (unless global warming eliminates winter before then).

I am doing everything I can to keep cold air out of my house. With electricity and gas prices sky rocketing every little bit helps. I have lots of cold air coming through the plugs. These were suggested and were priced right. I like the pull tab so I can easily pull them out when I need to plug in something. They fit tightly and do require a bit of strength to pull out. Definitely helps keep cold out probably will keep hot air from flowing in during summers too. Happy I bought these.

These are perfect for us. We live in an 1890's New England home. We needed a way to block the cold air from coming in through the electrical outlets. Before trying these, we had used the standard, flat type covers, which created a painful struggle whenever we needed to use an outlet. These covers have completely eliminated that problem. Some of our family members are elderly and have arthritis, and/or Raynaud's, which limits their hand strength and dexterity, and these easily removable plugs are especially helpful for them. I am thrilled with this purchase. Wish I had discovered them years ago.
