Excellent quality and very easy to use. My 5 year old LOVED his special lap desk for our long car journey this Easter. The adjustable compartments were superb for his little toy cars, waterbottle, and a pencil case. I didn’t carry any whiteboard markers this time, but the whiteboard option is a cool addition. Didn’t really use the iPad sleeve as he didn’t want to bother with screens as he enjoyed his activity books on the generous space on his lap desk! Brilliant buy!

I have never written a review before, but felt this item was deserving of a 5 star review. We received the item in a very timely manner. The tray itself was not flimsy at all, it was firm but not too hard. Also, it sat level on my 7 yo lap, it didn’t lean forward or back, which I was concerned about when purchasing. The strap that goes around my child’s back held it in place perfectly. The drink and marker sized pockets that you can attach on top of the tray were even better than I expected. Completely versatile and good quality- you can move them around or remove them completely based on the activity. We did not use the iPad holder but my 7 yo enjoyed having it there anyway. We did remove it at one point so she could do an activity that needed more room on the tray. We also did not use the zippered pouch or the other pouches hanging down on either side of the tray but they were also good quality. The tray was great to color or do crafts on, eat and snack on, and rest her book on when she read. Most importantly, my child loved it as well.

Really good quality product with some clever options built in for the tablet, water bottle and other sections. But after a couple of days of use, my 2.5 year old got upset at it and said the weight of it hurt her knees and won't use it anymore, so I am going to have to put it aside for a year or so until she is bigger. If your carseat doesn't have horizontal armrests, there is nothing for the tray to sit on other than your child's lap (which slopes down slightly in her carseat) and everything on the tray (food, etc) slides forward. Perhaps there could be a smaller tray for younger kids, or a way to support the weight of the tray better?

We purchased these for our oldest children for a two day road trip and they can in handy many times. They work as a play station, as well as a tray for eating. A few cons - the tray itself is not super rigid and so things can tip over (I would not recommend any cups with no lids), and they only buckle around your child's back. I think it would be better if they could attach to the back of the seat in front of the child instead.
