Crochet for Beginners: Quick and Easy Way to Master Spectacular Crochet Stitches in 3 Days

This a great book, very descriptive.

I've been wanting to learn to crochet for a while now, but I've never found a step by step instruction that was simple enough for me to understand. This book was suggested by a friend, who seems to be a complete whizz when it comes to knitting, crocheting, sewing and everything creative, so I gave it a go!I absolutely love that this book has pictures to go along with the step by step instructions given. The instructions are really easy to follow anyway, but I definitely work a lot better when I can see what I'm supposed to be doing! And if the pictures didn't help me enough, the book links me to a video or two along the way so that I can see it all in more detail, which is just fantastic.I wasn't sure what to expect when I started the book, but it gives a great break down of what is needed to start crocheting, and even offers links to other amazon products that you could use, to make your life a little easier!I've been working on the more simple crocheting recently, because I'm not yet brave enough to try out any of the patterns that are in the book. But I have been trying to include different coloured yarn, because I love more colourful projects, and I'm so glad that this book includes a 'Changing Colours' section! I can't wait to have a go at the Heart Hat for my niece, any maybe in time, the octopus toy, because it's so sweet!I'm really glad this book was suggested to me! Definitely worth the five star rating!

Clear instructions

Just received this book so haven’t had a chance to try any of the advice or patterns but I must say I was really disappointed that all the photos were in black & white!!

Good book

Very good in explaining step by step the different stitches in crochet

So not having crocheted since my Gran showed me in my teens I was excited to receive this book. So I have crocheted before.The pictures for starting do not show which is the end of yarn and which to use...Then turn the page and suddenly you know how to crochet a whole row... Que?But I'm a beginner...! this is less than useless.

Finally a crocheting book that explains so well for beginners. I did learn to crochet years ago but I forgot and I wanted to do some finishing touches that are a little different to some knitted cushions I am making. So far I have done the sunflower and the pom pomss and they look fab. The crochet patterns are from beginner to more advanced and it has perfect illustrations that really explain and a huge plus for me if you do not quite grasp the pictures shown then you have videos. I can't believe the price of this its just worth every penny and I love that it is on my kindle as I can use it anywhere as I tend to travel and visit my grandchildren so I am happy the patterns etc can come with me. I love the easy instructions. Great for those who never have, but want to crochet. Stitch by stitch when to change colors.

This book is a better choice for beginners, however I would still suggest that Amazon give a few picture of the inside of the book in order to make a choice on which book to purchase.The front cover and a picture of the UPC code does NOT help in making that choice.

Perfect guide for anyone wanting to learn crochet or learn new and different techniques.The book came packaged well and on time. There were no bends, folds, tears or marks. All of the text, diagrams and pictures were clear and easy to see/read. The descriptions were easy to understand and follow. It teaches you everything from different types and sizes of hooks and threads and how to use them, to individual full patterns you can follow. In depth description of all the unique hooks and threads, how to recognise them, how to use them and what they are best used for. The patterns are broken down into easy to follow instructions with pictures when needed. All around a great crochet guide.
