I use these for action cam mounts. Really solid and well made. Have ordered two of these in the past month. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for and worth it.

These are well made, solid and very useful to have. Great for customizing your setup and adjusting clearances to best suit your needs. The hole in them allows for tightening with an Allen wrench, or small screwdriver.They also come in a larger (3/8”) thread size.

I used these at short extensions for a rigid automotive camera mount and they work great! The holes in the shaft are useful for screwing them down tightly and also for running a tether through just in case something fails while in motion. My only complaint is that the 1/4"-20 male threads could be longer, but I understand that this is because many camera mounts have shallow female threads.

These worked great as an extension for my webcam on a tripod that didn't have a boom arm for a top-down angle. My only gripe would be that the pieces stuck fairly securely to one another (for most, I'm sure that's a plus), which made it hard to take them apart without some leverage via the holes in the rods. Just make sure you have some alan keys handy if you're pairing them up.

Switching to the Sony FX30 from BMPCC4K, I also switched to 7Artisans cinema lenses, which I’ve really enjoyed— one issue is that if I’m using the 12mm, most of the 15mm rod mountings I was trying were too long, and would bump against my Tilta mini-matte box. These Nitze screw-on rods solved this issue, attaching to my Tilta camera cage via the front-facing 1/4 20 mount so I can mount my Smallrig wireless follow focus and still use a matte box. As with all the other Nitze gear I’ve bought, they’re well and thoughtfully constructed, as well as affordable.

Another beautifully machined piece from Nitze. This allows me to mount my follow focus motor above my lens, using a forward facing 1/4 20 on the Nitze Stinger handle. It could attach anywhere on the Nitze cage for mounting additionall accessories, and I love that versatility.
