Very easy to install
Used this to replace factory original seal. The old ones crumbled very easy as removing it.Once I got a method to install it I did all the seals on a 30 foot travel trailer in 45 minutes. If you need to replace yours don’t be unsure about doing it yourself, it’s so simple to do.

Worked well to replace the vinyl screw cover trim
The vinyl trim around my trailer's storage compartments had grown pretty funky and discolored. No amount of scrubbing or cleaning product will get rid of those black marks, so replacing it was a must.I wasn't sure how wide the original trim was, and I didn't want to remove it until I had the replacement in hand since I was worried it would rain, but I took a guess it was the 3/4-inch, and that is the correct size.In the attached pictures you can see the before and after, plus a detail image of one of the corners. The corners are hard to do right... I replaced the trim around both passthrough doors, so that was 8 corners total. I think 2 of them look awesome, and the other 6 look like the photo. I did go back out later with a heat gun turned to about 200F to soften it up some while I pushed down with a putty knife to see if it would form a more "corner-like" shape. I guess it helped a little, but they still look kind of wavy.Oh well, I think it'll still hold in there just fine - the "wings" seem to maintain good contact with the trim channel so I don't think it would come out, and it'll probably still do a good enough job of keeping water out. It might also start to look better after a few hot/cold cycles in the sun and at night. If anything changes in that regard, I'll update. I just wish I knew what I did right on the 2 corners that look awesome. I used my putty knife while going around and tried to basically mash it in place, along with my thumb doing the same thing, but for whatever reason it just worked better on those.Still, it looks amazing compared to the old stuff, and of course now I realize I need to clean the rest of the doors better since the trim is no longer the dirtiest part.I bought the 50' roll and for my two doors I probably only used less than half, so I'm happy to have more to do it again if needed, down the road.

Get the Heavy Duty
Started with standard trim then ran out. Decided to get heavy duty to compare and these are much better. I believe they will hold up better and were no more difficult to install. Maybe a bit easier but can’t say for sure.

Works and looks great!
I bought this to repair the old strip on our older trailer. I was a bit disappointed at first when it seemed to be very thin, but it actually worked very well. I think it is probably the same thickness as the original, but since it is new and I installed it on a hot day, it was pretty warm itself and was very flexible!I began installing it and was instantly appreciative of the way it was made! It installed easily and held very well inside the existing track. It covered the screw heads well and looks great. I am glad I bought two spools (and will need to get more) since I am planning on replacing even more than I had planned since it really makes the old stuff stand out! Great value for the money and easy to install. Just make sure you seal and (re)install the end clips to hold it in place.

Thick and Supple. Amazing product!
This is fantastic quality insert. Much thicker and softer than the typical thin, hard vinyl insert that is more commonly available. Easy to work with, even in cold temperatures. A true pleasure to work with.

Perfect insert
This is hands down by far the best vinyl insert for rv's. I've been an RV tech for over ten years and run my own RV repair business and this is all I'll use anymore. Best for longevity, easiest to install and Best looking insert!
