Why is this £80 more than 2 days ago and £90 more expensive than buying the same package directly from positive grid (including vat and customs)?

So the price can be reduced later and seem like a bargain probably

It will work on anything with a pickup. It has a standard 1/4" jack input.

Why is this £80 dearer than on the positive grid site?

Because the price on the Positive Grid site does not include VAT, which is applied at checkout when you tell them where you want your Spark shipped to and when they run promotions it can appear as if buying it from PG directly is cheaper (which it sometimes is but not by that much I'm afraid)
