BaByliss Curl Pro 210 Tong

First time I used the product I didn’t like it at all.... ok I was in a bit of a rush so that’s on me.This is the second time of using and I have to say my opinions changed completely! I’m very happy with the results and I have a lot of hair! Took no more than 20 minutes and this picture was taken 9 hours after doing my hair, so it’s held really well.My advice to others would be to use larger sections at the back of your head and smaller ones at the front, I also used the roll and drop technique and used my fingers to brush through to create the easy natural wave look. Also let your hair cool before applying any hairspray.Heats up very quickly, careful while touching the ‘cool end’ as I still burnt my finger!I have numerous other curlers/wavers and this is by far the best, and it’s also the cheapest that I’ve purchased. Very happy and really surprised with the outcome.I’d definitely recommend

Firstly let me state, I never write reviews but with this product I really think I have to. As a makeup artist and hair stylist, I have owned a lot of tongs and it’s probably fair to say I have a few too many. I have tried pretty much most things on the market, but when my last ones that I used constantly, hot tools, started not curling properly anymore, I thought perfect, I get to invest in something new. Doing a lot of googling and research through pro and non pro sites a lot of reviews came up of different products. Then I spotted these, the reviews were amazing, but could it really be that you could get a really good tong for £20?!? Having spent over £100 on many pairs in the past. I was doubtful but decided for the money it had to be worth a go and my gosh I’m glad I did. Now let me start by saying this product is not fancy, it isn’t the bells and whistles of a cloud nine or GHD or hot tools, it’s pretty basic, it’s lightweight and has a very simple adjustable heat button. I would also add that the worst thing about it is the cord isn’t particularly long, however I feel like this really is a small price to pay. The tong heats pretty quickly and straight away makes light work of big bouncy curls. I have super thick, corse hair and I was completely done in 15 minutes, now that is fantastic.Would I recommend this product to people with finer or more sensitive hair, no probably not, I would advise spending a bit more however for course thick hair, this curler is an absolute dream come true. Best £20 I have spent in ages!

These tongs curl very quickly and have 3 different heat settings, i have only ever used the on the lowest and it works fine. I have short hair and just want body, but I can see that you could get ringlets or bouncy curls on long hair. However, it is very easy to burn yourself! I have burns all over my forehead, both ears and hands, around my thumbs. This could be me being careless but being used to straightening tongs, which are not hot on the non-heating plates, these are hot, very hot, all over and it's very easy to burn yourself!!

I have to say, I absolutely love these tongs! I had tried several different brands but this one was not only the cheapest, but the most effective. You can choose your temperature, they are lightweight and easy to use. I also found the curls really last! (Someone advised me to use a lower temperature for longer lasting curls, they were right! Who knew!!!??!?!?)Very happy with my purchase, would definitely recommend.

After reading all the positive reviews about this item, I was really excited to receive it and give it a try. What a shame it is such a disappointment and completely useless! I'm no novice when it comes to styling my hair and I have used curling wands/tongs in the past with really good results. However, despite following the instructions to the letter, these tongs don't curl my hair at all, and what little wave they did produce dropped out before my hair had even cooled down! I persevered, thinking that it was perhaps because I wasn't used to the tongs but by the time I had finished 'styling' my hair, it looked like it hadn't been touched. Needless to say they have been returned for a full refund and I will be purchasing something that that actually does what it's supposed to.
