Fits and works great!
Fits perfectly in my 6.8L v10 excursion. The rubber seal was a little tight but works Great. Replaced while doing coolant flush as preventative maintenance and glad that I did. Works as expected. Good buy!

The rubber gasket does not fit in the housing for the thermostat.
2005 Ford F150 4.2 L V6, the rubber gasket that goes around the edge does not fit in the housing for the thermostat.

Solved my overheating
Truck is a 98 F-150, 4.6l engine. I flushed the system, replaced the thermostat, and added new coolant. Before, my truck was overheating when going over 60 or "getting heavy on the pedal". The heat gauge now stays below half and doesn't go over, though I haven't taken the poor thing over 75 mph. This product is cheap, and changing thermostat is an easy job in most cases, so I recommend it.
