Velo Wide Channel F Saddle

Great saddle at a good price.

Loved it so much I bought a second one for my road bike. It's a little heavy but the comfort is worth it!

I am a female and I cycle approx 100-150 miles per week on my road bike. I have tried many saddles in the search to reduce the pain and chafing I was experiencing from other saddles. Four of these saddles cost approx £140 each. I had almost got to the point of giving up cycling as I was sick of being sore down below. All previous advice told me to put a narrower saddle on a road bike but I decided to go against this in a last ditch attempt to find some relief. When I spotted this saddle at this price I thought I could afford to take a gamble and try it. All I can say is thank goodness I did! It is the most comfortable (If you can say that about a saddle) I have EVER used. I've done approx 120 miles since buying it and am no longer scared to sit down after I've been on my bike. In fact I look forward to cycling and still can't believe how good this saddle is. It is fairly cushioned compared to my previous rock hard perches but it is still very supportive at the same time. The cut out is perfect for me and the wider back supports my sit bones nicely taking all weight from my soft tissue. I don't think you'd go wrong buying either this or the male version which comes with a slightly longer nose. (This is 250mm in length and the male version is 270mm in length) It isn't as sporty looking as some saddles but really who cares? I'm sitting on it not looking at it and it means I can get some serious miles in. I'll take substance over style any day. I can't say this will work for everyone as we all have different preferences when it comes to saddles but I for one am thrilled. I will be buying a couple more as back ups too.

Tut mir der Hintern nicht mehr weh beim Radeln ;) Habe mir einige Jahre auf einem unbequemen Sattel den Hintern wund gesessen, weil doch immer alle sagte, das kommt nicht vom Sattel, da gewöhnt man sich dran.^^ Nein, tut man nicht und doch, es war der Sattel! Früher konnte ich nach einer winzigen 20km Radtour 5 Tage lang nicht mehr auf den Drahtesel steigen, heute fahre ich mehrere Strecken am Tag und auch mehrere Tage nacheinander. Da ich nicht der regelmäßigste Fahrradfahrer bin und auch relativ wenig Sitzfleisch besitze merke ich es irgendwann schon, aber das ist völlig normal und bei regelmäßigem Fahren, würde das bestimmt auch noch aufhören ;) Hätte nie nie nie gedacht, dass ich zu so einem vernünftigen Preis einen so tollen Sattel bekomme! Würde ihn jeder Zeit wieder kaufen und empfehle ihn allen, die nach dem Fahrradfahren über ihr Hinterteil jammern ;) Wers noch genauer wissen möchte: man merkt schon bei den ersten paar Metern, dass die Aussparung im Sattel das Schambein etc sehr entlastet, das, was früher auch am meisten weh getan hat. Der Sattel ist relativ weich, da er ein dickes Polster als Sitzfläche hat (zumindest sehr viel dicker als mein alter Sattel) ;) aber er ist nicht zu weich. Gerade angenehm. Mir tut, wenn mir überhaupt mal noch etwas weh tut, wirklich nur der eklig spitze Knochen weh, auf dem das meiste Gewicht lastet. Also genau der, über den sich alle beschweren, wenn man ihnen auf dem Schoß sitzt ;) Jeder Zeit wieder! Viel Sattel zum kleinen Preis! :)

I bought an ebike & my seat was so uncomfortable. After a lot of research reading reviews from women I decided on this one. What a huge change to my riding comfort in all the right places! So happy riding now, I can enjoy it so much more.
