Good but setup instructions poor
I’ve been trying to find a reliable way to connect my iPad/ iPhone to my LG smart tv something I had foolishly assumed would be easy in this modern interconnected world. Initially it was to let me play music from amazon music on my surround sound but I also occasionally want to stream videos and photos. Turns out it isn’t easy but this little dongle does the job perfectly. Rubbish instructions but easy to setup once you figure it out.Just plug it into your TV (it runs off the TV’s USB). Once source is correctly selected you get its welcome screen. What is very unclear from the instructions is how to get it to access your WiFi. What you need to do is access the dongles own WiFi network by selecting it from any device you have to hand. Then open a browser and type in the IP address showing on the bottom of the welcome screen. It will be something like 198.162.203.1. You will then see a list of available WiFi networks, choose yours and type in its password. On the screen you will see the connection to the internet complete. Now rejoin your normal WiFi on you device and the dongle shows up in the list AirPlay devices.Works perfectly for music and for all the video I have tried with exception of Netflix which mirrors fine up to the point of playing a video at which people you get sound but video plays on iPad.As tv has apps for all of that not really a problem.

Rubbish
This is just a load of rubbish to be honest. I’ve tried everything to tray and make the picture less glitches but nothing seems to help. Wouldn’t waste your time or money.

Good but....
Got Apple TV on one TV to stream etc from iPhone. Got this unit for a second TV, easy to setup when connecting directly to it which works really well, just go to settings, choose the Mira device as your WiFi network and that’s it. Auto rotates etc works well, HD quality. Also set it up as a device on my home WiFi network which didn’t work well, once set up it wasn’t as good as directly connecting to Mira device, quality was poor and twice I had to go through settings and connect it back on to my home WiFi network. It would have been nice to just be on my WiFi network and just go to screen mirror, choose Mira device and it work. But seeing as for it to work well all I have to do is in addition to above is to change my WiFi network it’s a small price to pay to get iPhone compatibility and save buying another Apple TV.

laggy and crashes
The two biggest problems I have with this are: 1, when it's working the video is jittery and often can't keep up with the phone/laptop displaying, even at less than 4k resolutions. 2, it's constanly dropping the connection and needs to power cycled in order to get the picture back. This usually happens with macbooks, as oftern as every 2 minutes.

So easy, works straight away
So easy to set up, just plug in and go.Use the project function on windows 10 laptop, and I can now use my TV as a second screen for work/gaming

Does not work with Apple
I set this up correctly, connecting it to my own WiFi. When used with Apple iPhone, it failed to stream video from YouTube or Apple Fitness. Waste of money. Going straight back.

It’s fake!! They hacked my account!!
Great product, works well for my work laptop and personal phone. Can't get it to connect to personal laptop for more than 30seconds, assuming this is the laptops issue given other devices work well.

Rubbish quality 3m distance
Don't buy. Product doesn't buffer and the voice don't carry with the picture.
