These filters are not what they portray, the last batch only filtered about 6 gallons of water before theyquit. I will not be ordering again.

While these filters are a great substitute for the Berkey's. They don't filter quite as good as the Berkey. They do make the water safe to drink, but the water(or at least ours) still has a heavy soap/metallic like flavor - I'm guessing due to the heavy lime in our well water

These fit my Big Berkey perfectly and shipping was fast. And less expensive!

I bought this 2 pack for a homemade water purification water system and it worked out as planned. I would definitely buy again when needed.

I’d been wanting to replace my Berkey filters but had issues with the company and wasn’t sure I wanted to continue being a patron. I was starting to look into alternative water filtration systems but then I found these filters!They are exactly the same as the cylinder carbon filters that came with my Berkey when I first bought it - at least in form/size if not in function. They fit perfectly in my filter, and after the requisite 30min soaking and 1x filter to throw out, the water tastes clean and pure and amazing. I know since we’d been having more issues with chlorine lately and my old filters weren’t up to the task it tasted bad often. Now it tastes great.Question will be - how long do they last?The Berkey replacement filters are 230$/2. These are 55$/2 with coupon. The major difference is these don’t remove viruses and bacteria, but unless you plan on needing to filter pond water, tap water will be just fine.

It's a very what you pay for situation with these and me. I wanted to see if they worked well enough to save money. They don't see filter as many ppms and the flavor is off.

great carbon filters, improve the taste of water, removes harmful chemicals and bad tastes.some larger particles as well. all things noted on the box.does NOT remove viruses/bacterial, so for improving the taste of potable water only.follow directions to clear filters of loose carbon and get nice clear great tasting water.
