I mean, they're chunks of shaped metal, the bar is low here. Standard rivets, and they work great. The setting tool is perfect for them. I kinda prefer the setting tool that has the holes in the end. This one has the holes on the side but I'm warming up to that configuration. I think it poses less of a risk of denting the leather with the tool.

Tool was good quality. Rivets were decent too.I made a good strong repair with them.Plastic case was broken on end where the heavy tool slammed.Adding foam packing to keep tool from moving during shipping would help.

Sizes vary. Easy to use

I was looking for stronger replacements for cheap cap head rivets and these hit the mark. Very strong brass. The posts are actually quite hard to trim with pliers, but that’s a good thing. You don’t get the double-capped look with these types of rivets, but they actually look pretty great when set.I only have two complaints. First, that there is a slight pattern pressed into the head of the rivets which I don’t care for so much(see photo), though it could be hammered out if you really wanted.Second complaint is that I wish the set came with more than about 10 in each size. I used just about all of one size for one project, so I’d like it if I didn’t have to order again completely for that size.

The punch and set are quality. Actually came in original Tandy leather packaging. Only complaint is they only sent half the rivets advertised.

A nice selection for the price. There is a learning curve with all this type rivet, especially used on webbing straps; but just a matter of 3-4 practice attempts.
