I'm, 5'7" and a little curvy. I purchased this lightly lined shell, oversized to accommodate layers and handle rain and cold in urban Seattle over Christmas. On me, it hits mid-thigh, so my butt stays dry. I live in CA, so I needed it to be adaptable to milder conditions (45-50) as well. When we got to Seattle on Christmas Eve day, it was raining and cold -- about 40 degrees. The coat was cozy -- completely water- and wind proof. Overnight it snowed and the temps dropped to between 20-25. We had an authentic white Christmas! I layered it up with fleece-lined water resistant leggings, polypro base layer top, HH Polartec fleece pullover,Bean's Polartec vest, Polartec hat, scarf and gloves. The weather remained snowy, icy, cold and windy until we left on the 29th. I remained warm, dry and happy as a clam for the duration! Back home I'm wearing it'around town' as a casual shell over lighter winter clothes. It's perfect.

I purchased this jacket for a trip to Ireland. I don’t get nearly as much rain where I live so my jackets were mostly hip length…this comes mid thigh.The fit is great and I loved the weight of it, not too heavy or light. I went with the Navy, it is a dark Navy..almost black but I liked that!I haven’t gone on my trip yet so I can’t speak to how water proof it is but I do wish the hood provided a bit more coverage, only other complaint is no inner pocket!! Such an easy thing to add and so helpful to have…I would have given a 5 star if the hood provided more coverage and there was an inner pocket.

Nice coat but loses its waterproofing quickly.....I own several and was told by the manufacturer that it should only be washed once a season and then you need to re- waterproof it!!!! What???? For that price it should keep you dry no matter what!!!

Loved the coat but exchanged for a 2XL. Wanted to be able to comfortably wear a sweatshirt or fleece under coat. XL fit fine but was too snug for that.

Overpriced but worth it
