It's a beautiful book full of great stories for young children. The quality was great, and the recipients loved it. I'd recommend it as a gift for younger children who love stories about animals. It's also a durable book.

THIS BOOK IS ADORABLE. I had something like this when I was a child and the concept of tiny animal houses in trees with normal sized everything else just enthralled me from the start. This book is absolutely, utterly precious and the artwork is incredible with delightful, innocent stories. Instant favorite.

Love these stories for bedtime reading or storytime with the kiddos. It's best for 4+, but my three year old also likes the pictures. The book is big enough for everyone to fully appreciate the very detailed drawings. The stories are sweet, with just a couple of incidents of mischief from the kids in them. Overall a loving community and beautiful description of the changing seasons in the country with each story. It's not a ton of adventure, but a comfort read. Highly recommend to go with seasonal lessons, and a excellent read aloud with a child who loves detailed pictures

My nieces (ages 4, 6 and 8) love this book. It's the definition of cute. Cute stories, cute pictures. The 8 year old is able to read it independently, and the 6 year old can read some of it with a lot of help. However, it is also well suited as a read aloud story book.

Totally adorable! Where has this been all my life? I wish I had this earlier when I was raising little kids. Very quality binding.

The stories are so fun to read and the illustrations are so interesting. Although my 2 year old granddaughter is calling her mama “ Mrs. Crusty Baker”!!
