Hot Wheels RC Terrain Twister Vehicle, Orange

The media could not be loaded.  So far no complaints. It's really unique, a nice change from a regular wheeled RC vehicle. We haven't gotten to try it on snow, as it was bought for Easter. Works great on water! The instructions say it can go in water, like a pool or a pond where there is not a lot of current. We tried ours in the bath tub (plain water, no bubble bath) first to see how it performed - great! Then we put it in the pool at our gym and all the kids were going crazy over it!

I should start by saying my son, who is 3, loves this toy. He got it for Christmas and it was his favorite of all he received. However, after a few minutes use one side stopped spinning. He didn't really care because it just made it go sideways across the room. When we took it outside the lack of one side's functionality caused it not to move at all in the snow or dirt. This DID make him sad, which you never want to see on Christmas. I'm not sure if we just got a lemon. To be fair I have not contacted the Mattel about it so I cannot say whether they would handle a return good or not. If this kept working I would have given it 5 stars as being the first remote control car my 3 year old loved to use.

This is a really great toy. It takes some practice to understand how to get he cars to go straight on flatter terrain. My seven year old is able to control the car very well after a little time instructing him. Basically, you have to wiggle a little from side to side. you can't just direct he car to go straight, due to the corkscrews. My 7 year old has driven this over rocks, ice, snow, grass, and water. It's a lot of fun and much more entertaining than typical remote control cars. If I had to improve on one thing, I think we get about 20 minutes of play time per 4 hour charge. But the 20 minutes are all up hill over rough terrain and through wooded bumpy areas. I highly recommend this toy for children ages 7-12.

Worth every penny! My nephew LOVES this toy, and boy does it move and crawl -- to the side, everywhere, snow, outside, ground, street, yard. Fast, quick! Now, get a screw driver out and take the time to put all the batteries in, I found it easy (just read the instructions). It's so much funny and a powerful toy!

Great toy, super sturdy. Kids love it. The batteries die with 20 min of being fully charged and take a long time to recharge. With three kids by the time they've taken it outside, argued over who goes first and then run it around for a few minutes, the batteries are dead. Then they are all mad bc we have to go through the whole charge process again. If you've got one kid, who is very patient, and all the time in the world to keep recharging multiple times a day. Get this. If not, find something with a better battery life.

Very disappointed. Not worth the $70! I paid. Saw it christmas day for $46. Smh... I bought this for my 7yr old. Doesn't work on smooth surface. Very difficult to control. It was much bigger than expected. But I don't know if that's a good thing. Overall I don't recommend buying this product.

Gave these to my two grandsons for Christmas. Worked well on the snow. Didn't watch the initial charging time - checked at three hours for both chargers and they were charged. Both Terrain Twisters lasted longer than 20 minutes per reviews, but was first time out with charge and toys.
