Bluetooth works great with IOS (16.5.1).
Background, I have iPad Pro and needed a compact midi keyboard to take with my "on the go", so I can play with the various iPad software instruments I have during travelling. After reading many reviews online, that stated that this device did not work anymore wireless (bluetooth) with latest iPads IOS, I still opted to buy this model since price difference with the wired only version was relatively limited. After initally connecting via the provided cable (which worked perfectly as expected) I then turned switch to bluetooth. To my surprise the keyboard is found in IOS and after adding the bluetooth Midi connect app from the app store (only was used once, don't need to activate it afterwards), it works pefectly with all my apps, Garagaband, Korg Module, Sunday Keys etc Best of all, there is no noticable latency (see video) and you get great wireless playing experience, with just iPad and no futher cables or adapters needed. Other products I looked at, either block the iPad speakers (which sound great on iPad pro) or need adapters / powered hubs to connect to iPad. The 37 keys hava a great tactile feeling too for the size. I will say the keys are smaller sized as (hence ideal for travel), but for home studio would recommend a full size keyboard of course. Also, if you have the space, the more keys the better, there are also 49 and 61 key versions of this model. See video for you guys worried about latency (like myself). After selecting bluetooth I have not gone back to cable version, it is just too convenient to use BT, also the pitch and modwheel work great wirelessly. Hope the info is usefull!

Amazing little keyboard!!!
It’s perfect for travel, it’s very lightweight and fits perfectly in my backpack. I use it mostly to write scores on my iPad using Dórico. For that type of use, the two octave size is enough. If you want to use for recordings and want to play with both hands I suggest a larger version with 3 or 4 octaves. But if you are recording a single line with one hand and want something more portable it works great. The key size is small and narrow but it’s just wide enough to fit my big hands without pressing two notes at the same time. The weight of the keys is good. They don’t feel flimsy like other portable keyboards and are silent when pressed and released (unless of course you slam your fingers on them) but under normal circumstances they are silent. With the Bluetooth MIDI Connect app by Korg connecting the keyboard to my iPad and MacBook Pro is a breeze, just open the app turn on the micro key air and select it on the app. After you’ve done that the first time you don’t even have to open the app you just turn on the keyboard and automatically connects. You do have to download the app to connect it, because the midi keyboard won’t appear under the normal Bluetooth settings. In terms of latency, I haven’t noticed any. Considering the good build quality and portability, I find it to be a good value for the money and I highly recommend it.

Now onto the good things. This keyboard is extremely portable and definitely ...
I bought this keyboard because it was small, compact, and lightweight, but when I received the microKEY air 61, I realized it was TOO small, especially for gigging. The keys are very tiny and though touch sensitive, the semi-weighted quality is nowhere near an actual piano. I thought I could live with semi-weighted keys, but combined with the slimness of the keys, this proved to be difficult. Bluetooth connection is not a breeze in the park, either. Sometimes it takes multiple tries to get it to connect. On top of that, latency can also be an issue. I experienced some lag with the bluetooth connection. The product also comes with a code to access the Korg ios app, but you have to pay for the app which was a bummer. Now onto the good things. This keyboard is extremely portable and definitely works with a sustain pedal. It is a perfect and simple MIDI controller. I recommend this product to people who really like something to play recreationally on the go, but not to professional players. For more experienced pianists looking for a gigging or travel instrument, I suggest going for the 88 fully-weighted hammer action keys. Though the price is a little steeper, the authentic feel is definitely worth it. I ended up returning the keyboard, but I want to clarify that this a good product for a certain type of people; it just wasn't what I was looking for.

Well-Built and awesome!
This micro key air is the best-built, feature-filled portable controller I've ever used! It's a little bigger than I was expecting, but the keys have good action, it's built solid, and the joystick is nicer than the one on my workstation! The main selling point for me was the Bluetooth capability. I needed a portable keyboard to use with my Korg Gadget software (running on my iPhone) and this pairs instantly and there's almost zero latency. Unexpectedly, the micro key air also comes with a usb cord and can be used as a portable keyboard for my laptop DAW. I'd definitely recommend this, and am considering buying a few more for Christmas gifts. Pros: Great responsive keys Well-built joystick More sturdy build than many other options Connects to Bluetooth quickly Can be used as a tethered usb controller Cons: Slightly bigger than expected; is an inch too wide for my laptop bag (when also carrying my laptop and charger).

This is a great keyboard with a nice little keybed that's not too mushy (it's a Korg, after all). Well worth the money. Seems quite durable, and the battery life is awesome. Have played it for over a dozen hours now and have not had to replace them yet. Everything works as it should for the pitch bend and octave change keys.

You couldn't ask for more at this price point. What a great little keyboard. I quite like the mini keys myself and the Bluetooth function is exactly what I needed. It's my go to midi controller now. A+++
