Awesome kids handlebars The Shotgun handlebars provide a warmer alternative for little hands – and stop your co-pilot from playing with your gears, brakes and dropper post! Will the Shotgun seat + handlebar combo fit my bike? The Shotgun Seat fits most modern analogue mountain bikes (front suspension required) – including bikes with steep, sloping or tapered top tubes. It’s even suitable for carbon frames. The Shotgun Seat is not suitable for electric bikes, or bikes without front suspension including road bikes, gravel bikes, some hybrid bikes, beach cruiser bikes, bikes with step-through or single tube frames, or old mountain bikes with brake cables running along the top or side of the top tube. The Shotgun Seat has a range of adjustment to fit top tubes from 30 – 68mm wide, and down tubes from 30 – 100mm wide. The Shotgun handlebars fit 25.4mm, 31.8mm and 35mm handlebar diameters. **Q: How do you keep it from slipping back on a slanted bar, I tighten as tight as it c an and still slides back so he’s in my lap every time.**
A: I would try changing the angle of the brackets down to the foot pegs or changing the location of the skewer to get a better grip.

**Q: I'm 5'2.. my daughter is 42 inches tall, would she fit comfortably?**
A: Hi Andrew from Kids ride shotgun here, my daughter is about the same height who fits comfortably, alot will depend on the set up of your bike and your ability to see over your daughters head being 5.2. If you are concerned I would go to a local bike store to double check.

**Q: How about the frame protection? Does it work to carbon frames?**
A: I have a carbon bike and have had no issues. Just keep the bike clean and then grit won’t rub on the frame between the clamps. 

No issues with tightening on frame.

**Q: Im 6'8" on an XL frame and 29" tires, would anyone know if my knees would be in the way of the childs seat?**
A: Even at shorter heights (I’m 5’10”) you’ll have to pedal “around” your kiddo a bit. The seat isn’t too intrusive and you’ll just have your knees/legs alongside as opposed behind the Shotgun. Isn’t an issue!

We absolutely love this accessory! We’ve been using it since our little one turned 18 months. It has allowed us to enjoy such beautiful family bike rides together. The material feels very solid and durable—we’ve been using it consistently for the past eight months and it still looks and performs great. Perfect upgrade from the ibert Kazam seat ! My kid was using a balance bike and riding with me on mine in a kazam and he caught right onto this setup! He loves it! The handle bar attachment may need some shims if you are using bmx handlebars like mine, I put the ones included and it’s still a little loose but that is an easy fix depending on your bars.
