This book was required for a class, so I wasn't expecting something riveting. This book is just badly written in, however, and very difficult to get through. There MUST be better text books out there for classes on motivation.

I bought this IN THE KINDLE STORE and then went to download it. My Kindle said it couldn't download the book because it was "incompatible with this device." I'm not sure why Amazon is selling this in the Kindle Store when it's clearly not a Kindle compatible book. It will load on the iPhone app, but the text is literally so small, you cannot see it at all. You can pinch-zoom but then you have to constantly scroll. It's kind of like trying to view the world through the cardboard tube from a roll of paper towels.

I am using this book for a PsyD class and I hate it. The ideas aren't concise or explained well. I find myself drifting and having to reread sections and ask myself: what is the author trying to say? Hate it.

Had to buy it for my psychology class.The kindle version is nice since you can highlight and add notes.
