Update... I have now had these a while and used them multiple times. They are performing very well and I could not be more pleased. Very good value and they are tough.These are just what I needed for the pipe I was using. Did a great job.

No instructions, but if you are somebody who knows you need one, you can figure it out. After you cut pipe to length, grind the outside, a lot, so the threader can get a grip. Little black knob gets turned around to reverse ratching. You will need a long pipe wrench to hold the pipe you are threading, and a cheater pipe. And a cheater pipe to put on the handle of the threader. When you are done, you will feel like you have done something. Appears durable. Modest price. Try getting a plumber to come to your house to thread a pipe; not a chance. Even if you only use it once before you loan it to your brother in law, it is worth the price.

Kit looks good. From reviews of similar imported sets, I had modest expectations for how durable this would be. My priority use case is threading HDPE pipe and this kit was the least expensive way to get the 1.25” die. It works well for that. Look forward to trying the smaller sizes on galvanized pipe.
