Good Value and fit well
New Whirlpool Side x Side did not come with 'Fresh Flow' filter element installed, despite what user manual says, but with instruction to replace regularly. The element actually fits into a relief in the styrofoam housing surrounding the air damper assembly, where there appear there are some very small metering holes to it. Unsure how effective it will be. From photos you may discern other household members are less confident. In any case, these filters appear well made, and fit well, and come complete with 6 mo. indicators, and relatively inexpensive in comparison to OEM products.
