I want to give this more stars, I love it so much!
This thing is AMAZING. It is tiny and discreet, and easily hides on or behind furniture without attracting attention to it. And it works as expected!I have a Honeywell fan that we use to circulate air in a room with cathedral-style ceilings (gets very hot in the summer), but we're always forgetting where the remote went. With this product, I hid the IR Blaster on a shelf in line-of-sight of the fan, and programmed it using the app on my phone. It did not have the exact Honeywell codes for my fan in their library of known devices, but no problem- that's what the DIY learning mode is for! I dug up the original remote and pressed the buttons while aimed at the device in learning mode, and it was able to accurately repeat them towards the fan upon command after that. The app does not have a schedule option, but it does connect with Alexa as a skill and that's exactly what I wanted since we use Alex routines for home automation. I set some on/off schedules and now we just let it run itself as needed, and manually override it with an Alexa voice command or the app on my phone when needed. So far, it has worked EXACTLY as expected and I couldn't be happier with it! Awesome!

It doesn't work with 5Ghz (or 2.4Ghz). It doesn't work. Period.
First off, I would advise you to not buy this device if you have a 5Ghz router as directions say you can't go through the setup process on 5Gz. it requires older (and slower) 2.4Ghz to set up.The directions do state that you can set it up with a 2.4Ghz signal, but continue using with a 5Ghz signal. However, that is false. I wasted so much time trying to get this thing set up and in the end, it just didn't work.I have a Google Mesh Router that only works on 5Ghz, so I had to use another process to set it up. Here's what I did: I ended up having my son contact AT&T to pay for and set up a mobile hotspot on his phone so I could tether from his device. This would allow me to use a 2.4Ghz signal during the setup process as the phone confirms the WiFi signal it sends out during tethering is 2.4Ghz. So we went through the setup process while I was tethered and it worked. So far, so good. The process took about 2-3 minutes and I thought it was frozen at once point, but it's just slow.I then tried to use it on two different devices: a Hisense TV and a Frigidaire air conditioner. Neither one worked. So, I tried what the instructions suggested, which is "learn" a remote control. I began to go through that process and suddenly it told me the device was "offline." I tried several things -- resetting the device, resetting the app, restarting the phone, switching back to another WiFi network -- nothing worked. At all. So, even when it worked, it didn't work.Look, I do not like leaving one-star reviews. At all. And if there was even one tiny portion of this device that worked properly, I would've gladly given it at least two stars, but just for the mere fact that it failed in just about every asset of operation leaves me with only one conclusion: This device is NOT ready for prime time. Skip it and pay for something else. Look through my reviews. I've written several hundred and I've probably only left 2-3 one-star reviews. I just don't do it unless it's deserved.Beyond the fact that it didn't work properly, here are some other thoughts:-Cheaply made: The body is made of an extremely cheap plastic and it weighs next to nothing-The instructions are incredibly tiny (probably 5-6 point typeface) and very difficult to read. They are also folded like a map-It does come with a wall charger and a USB-C cable.OVERALL CONCLUSIONI really wanted to like this device. It seems like a great idea, but in the end, it just doesn't work and that's a huge disappointment. I'd recommend that you perhaps spend a few extra bucks and find a higher quality device. Whatever you choose, may luck be with you and take care.

These work great as long as the ir code is in the library
These are great when you’ve got a room with several IR devices in it (TV, DCD player, air conditioner). It can bring all of them under app or even Alexa control. But be warned - if your device isn’t part of the built-in library of IR codes and you have to “learn” them from the actual remote, those functions can’t be accessed from Alexa. They can be controlled from the app, but not by voice control. I have been asking why for ages, but have never got any answer. Just be aware this is a limitation.

Lots of potential fun
Pretty cool device, as long as it works with various electronic equipment. Also great for messing with someone's head by controlling their tv from a different room in the house. :)

The Remote Controller for the Future!
First let me start by saying I didn't encounter any of the problem of some of those negative reviews, it worked flawlessly with me without any problem, but you need to be patient and go through all the devices, I can control my AC and TV and Speakers almost everything i own that has IR receiver. I'm really happy with this WiFi Smart IR Blaster Box Universal Remote Control. It's been a lifesaver for controlling all of my electronics. The best part is that it's compatible with Alexa and Google Home, so I can control everything with my voice. It's also been really helpful in controlling my air conditioner.

iMPOSSIBLE
First of all. the instructions have such small type, I needed a magnifying glass to read them. This device uses the Tuya Smart app. I downloaded the app on an extra phone that I wanted use as my remote. I tried to follow the instructions to pair the unit and thought that I did, but although seeing the unit on my wi-fi listing, nothing happened. For me, a waste. 1 star. Would be nice if there was a help line.

Uses Tuya App, Doesnt like to communicate, or link controls.
A great idea with a bad application and programming setup. The application doesn't like to find the device every time requiring rebooting of it, the phone and more. When it did work it was able to get a signal to far across the home, but the issues far outweigh the benefits.

works well
Was purchased to make up for the fact we have lost our tv remote... and the play station remote and.... well you get the idea. It works quite well and is easy to set up.The user interface is a bit generic and not as customizable as I would have liked. Other than that it does what it advertises and solved the problem.

Exactly what I was looking for!
I use this to control my Bell Fibe, TV and Audio with Alexa, works flawlessly!

Works occasionally but inconsistently, does not play well with Alexa
Good in theory, not in application.I get inconsistent successes when trying to use this. Sometimes the TV responds to it, oftentimes not. Similar with my audio system.Extremely difficult to assess if the right settings are in use. For my Samsung TV there was 65 or so preset remotes, and no way to identify which might be the right one. So you scroll, test, scroll, test, scroll, test, until you find something you guess might have the functions covered. The options for my Yamaha receiver were fewer, and none of the options matched the device closely. The option I selected does cover the basics, however. Then there's Alexa.Alexa can pair with the two above mentioned devices, however Alexa does not seem to interact beyond the very basics with them. I may be able to turn the TV on and off, as with the stereo, but there doesn't seem to be any way to access the deeper functions of these devices. As an example, I've been unable to get Alexa to switch the stereo from HDMI1 to HDMI3. Thus, I can't say "Alexa, switch to TV mode" and have things switch automatically from there. So, in my opinion, it's a massive failure in operation and integration.

Was skeptical but not anymore!
Seeing some detailed negative reviews made me unsure about wasting time with this but I so glad I did.Once you understand how you can choose the built in remotes or customize (they call it DIY) then it's easy. I think people get confused when you program a button and or placement of the device in the room.If you could read the tiny font in the instructions that helps you set up the app etc. But I can see where people get lostTo customize or change a button on the app remote, just hold the remote you want to copy about 2 to 3 inches away from the device and press quickly once. The count down timer on your phone shows you how long you have until the ir antenna stops looking for the remote. Once it reads the remote button a window pops up to name it...voila! Easy peasyNow the look of the full DIY remote is hideous but whatever it works.Another tip is the placement of the ir antennadon't stick it into the corner under a pile of books. Place it in the room so that all devices have a decent line of sight to the ir antenna.Lastly, it does rely on wifi to work with your phone so if you have garbage wifi well that's not gonna help either. If you think it's junk, you clearly don't know how it works.

Would not work with Shaw/Rogers XR15V2 remote. It could not emulate an "Enter" button press.
This IR blaster could copy and control every function of the XiOne cable box EXCEPT the button used to press "Enter" after doing something like entering a channel number or selecting an option you scrolled to.Would not buy this if you are looking for to control a Shaw/Rogers system based on the XR15V2 remote.
