Doesn’t cut, blades are off. CORRECTION!!!
CORRECTION!IT TURNS OUT THAT THESE ARE NOT FOR FIRELINE. IT WAS MY ERROR IN THINKING THEY WERE. THEY CUT EVERYTHING ELSE JUST FINE. THIS IS DUE TO MISINFORMATION, AS I DID NOT SPECIFY I WANTED FLUSH CUTTERS FOR FIRELINE, I HAD JUST ASKED ABOUT FLUSH CUTTERS. I'M HAPPY WITH THEM NOW. I’m not happy with it. It cut nice the first couple times I used it but now I have to keep moving it to find a spot that cuts it. The blades are not flush, one side of blade goes a smidge higher than the other. It just chews up the fireline. The more I try to squeeze it the more the one side slides up.

No more sore hands!
Yeah! I am so happy that I did not get "fake' Xuron. I was concerned since the handle did not have the Xuron brand so I contracted Xuron directly. They verified that I had, indeed, received real Xuron product even thought is is not branded or packaged as Xuron. These cut so beautifully. I am new to wire weaving and purchased a cheap pair of flush cutters at Michael's Craft Store. My had was killing me from the handle design and the poor quality of the cutting edges. I asked for advice on a Facebook jewelers group and Xuron rated most highly, hands down, with other crafters.I will never buy another brand other than Xuron! A great product!Note: the smudges on the handles were not on the product when received.

Great Cutters But . . .
These cutters do exactly what they are supposed to do (I purchased them to cut metal dies apart) because they are sharp and narrow and pointed. And they are exactly as pictured -- open, because they are spring loaded. That, to me, is the problem with them. Although they could have a wire at the bottom of the handle to hold them closed when not in use, they do not. Since there are holes in the orange handles (but not the metal handles inside), I wonder if they did have such a wire at one time. So, while the cutters do a great job, I am finding it difficult to store them safely anywhere. I'm now using a plastic sleeve -- but do not know how long it will last. For info, I gave the seller 5 stars as he/she did not in any way mislead me on what I was getting. However I would suggest that others think about how they will store them before they purchase them.

GREAT! Withstand a lot of abuse.
I have owned about a dozen pairs of these over the last ten years or so I have been beading. The quality is always consistent and they work great. They would last a lot longer if I didn't use them around the house for random projects, loose them, or leave them outside. The last pair I "babied"(relative to how I normally treat these) and marked so no one else used them lasted me a good three years and I used them A LOT. They had one knick from an attempt to cut memory wire(these can't handle that) but were otherwise in great shape. I lost them!!!For the most part I actually use these to snip wire when wire wrapping as they fit into tight areas on jewelry projects and make a cleaner cut than regular wire cutters.

Well worth the price, and it's made in the USA to boot!
In my free time, I like to build resin model kits. To ensure strength, "pinning" the pieces with brass rod is absolutely vital, which is how I ended up with these Xuron cutters. I have used them on 0.8mm brass rod and they cut through the metal with a satisfying "click". These are so much better than the off-brand Chinese clippers I had been previously using because the blade doesn't get deformed! More importantly, they don't completely mangle the brass rod -- the cut isn't *perfectly* flush, but it's not been squished into an oval, either.I don't know if I would use these on anything larger than .8mm brass rod though -- if you treat your clipper well, it will last you a long time!

Decent Enough to PRO?!?
Not sure what others have found, but, simply can't beat this price. Tool is NOT amazing quality, but, sturdy enough for more than 20 PC builds thusfar, and still going strong. Well made, not JUNK! Hate to have that be the "disclaimer" but, it's the truth. I've made my money back a thousand times over. when I don't have my "expensive" ones handy, I barely notice the difference. ... btw, at 1/70th the price!!!

Worked well until they didn’t
These worked great for over a year, so I can’t complain for the price - but when they failed, they failed HARD. Wear your eye protection, folks! It might not just be a bit of wire that goes flying. (No injuries ensued from the flying shear tip, fortunately. It was just surprising.)

NOT XURON!!!!!
The media could not be loaded. I disliked the fact that in the photo it says that they are Xuron but when they arrive they are in Beadsmith packaging and say Beadsmith on the handle where it is supposed to say Xuron!!!
