So what is so dangerous about this product that you can't buy it in California? Oh, I forgot, it is California. This is a very nice and well priced soap dispenser that is priced well below other comparable soap dispensers and it seems to dispense just the correct amount of soap each time.Easy to install and it matches our far more expense Newport brass Polished Nickel faucet set perfectly.

So I definitely understand the complaints from others about it not being long enough to fit. But I have a enameled sink that is not deep so it fits with room to spare. It is beautiful, heavy weight and you can fill the soap from the top. The pump operates smooth. I love it!

Nothing to dislike, installed easily, doesn’t clog, and you can refill from the top, instead of taking everything out of the cabinet to get the bottle out. I’m very happy with these.

This dispenser is, as one other reviewer so accurately said, is nothing more than ornamental. The tubing straw is narrower than your basic drinking straw and the dispenser hole must be similarly micro-sized, resulting in a pea-sized amount of soap when you depress the pump. Because the pump sticks, you can't even double-pump it. Also, the description says you need to order a brass extender if your counters are 1" or thicker (most counters are), which I did purchase but it wasn't needed as the brass neck was over 1-1/2" long. (The picture is inaccurate.) I highly recommend you look for a different product.

Beautiful product, excellent quality, however the pumping of soap isn’t very functional

I did not have the length ( counter top thickness) issue others had, as this one came with a threaded shaft of about 3 inches long. It was plenty long. Mine did not leak and the hole for dispensing was good. The pump worked as advertised. My issue is the esthetic of the base. This was meant to match the faucets I bought, but the surface mount base is cheaply made, can scratch the counter top, and is sort of ugly compared to the faucets. I remedied it by saving the surface flange from the faucet spray nozzle I was replacing. Placing that under the flange of the soap dispenser gave the beefiness that it looks better.BTW - If you have not heard this tip...throw away the bottle! Those bottles leak, are hard to fill, always run out, and when you do fill them, you inevitably overfill it and get soap all over. Someone told me this tip. Buy some tubing which fits tightly over the pump's suction tube, and get it long enough to reach the shelf in your sink cabinet. Open a half-gallon or gallon soap bottle and put the tube into it. The dispenser will pull it up, and with that much soap under the counter it usually lasts a year or so before replacing it.

Looks great - perhaps a bit pricy - works well - as it should.

I bought this soap dispenser as a match to the Kingston brass taps I purchased. It's a nice little dispenser only I find the pump only pumps up a very small amount of soap and takes a few seconds before you can pump again. It's also smaller than I thought based on the picture.

Beautiful! I purchased one for lotion and one for soap! High quality and heavy brass. I do wish more soap came out in one pump since it is slow to pop up again.

Extremely poor quality. Purchased pump that had no opening to eject soap. The second replacement was equally as bad.

No short neck like other reviews. This dispenser was perfect for my stone counters.
