I got this as an extra present for my husband for his birthday so have only just been able to write a review.My husband finds his car seat is very uncomfortable for long journeys and complains every time we go anywhere.He used this yesterday for the first time and he was thrilled! He said it will take a while to get used to being a couple of inches higher, but this has no impact on his driving.He has a heated seat and thought he would not be able to feel the benefit of that on a cold day through the cushion......but that was not the case.Obviously time will tell, but the overall feel of this item is very good. It does what it says and, I think, is very good value. It seems well made and sturdy.

Absolutely brilliant. I have several slipped discs and this cushion has made my life alot more comfortable. I'm pleased not to not have to take so many painkillers now due to the support that this cushion.The price is excellent value, I am so grateful. I bought this recently due to my office chair causing me lower back pain, since using it I can now sit for hours again without feeling achy afterwards. I'm sure other products are just as good but this one has a fairly low price and does what it's meant to do. I've been using it for a week and so far not had any issues with shape retention.I would imagine if you were a larger chap this wouldn't be great. I'm a 32" waist and I'd speculate that the limit would probably be 34"/36"

I got this seat support to relieve my sciatica, along with a back support cushion, due to working long hours at a desk. After using it for 2 weeks I found my sciatica was no better and I was getting numb legs too which wasn't happening before.It occurred to me that I might be using it wrong - I was!Now I have placed the 'coccyx cut-out' (seems obvious now!) to the back of the chair seat it works a treat! I feel so supported, am forced into a better upright position (aided by the fab back support cushion i got, also from Amazon) and no more numb legs!
