I just started learning polygel earlier this year and wanted something to practice on because changing my nails every week was getting old. Lol This hand is inexpensive, flexible but firm, feels real and so many other things. I can use my nail drill on this hand and it's perfect to practice with. The nail part is firm and is deep enough just like your nails. I've tried other practice hands and they were either too flexible or too firm. They didn't move a lot and that made it hard for me. I needed a hand that felt realistic for when I get really good at nails. My 10 year old even uses it with no problem. Whether you're using polygel or acrylic, this is perfect for it. You won't find a better hand at a better price.

After completing nail tech courses my original practice hand was pretty beat up. I ordered a fresh one (this one) to take with me to my state board exam in Wisconsin. This worked great, it WAS very similar to the practice hands we were originally provided though, it may be a good idea to stick with something familiar if you’re going down the same route. It was pretty reasonably priced and I’m glad I got to go into boards with a clean slate

not a great hand to practice with, the nail bends don’t hold the nails in place if you just want to practice. it’s hard to get the acrylic off

This hand has bendable fingers that will remain the way it was bent! As many of the hands out there. But unlike some of those hands out there, the nails don't wobble and slide or even fall out!This practice manicure hand is easy to set up and to maneuver. You can use any size nails, I adhered with sticky tack - you need to use some adhesive to attach the nails. Make sure when you are using this to practice your polish skills, you arrange the fingers in such a way that gives you room to work. That way you don't risk smudging any of the polish. I am really happy with this practice hand, and think it would be an excellent purchase if you are needing a practice hand for either cosmetology/manicurist schooling or learning to apply acrylic and other embellishments on your own!

There was no slots to slide nail tip into i had to cut them myself and still not maluable
