Device is great ! Easy to use and setup.
The device requires an adapter extender to use with a standard iPhone case.

It might work for DOD…
It reads my card and lets me into 1 site that is bookmarked in the Sub Rosa app that I don’t need. But It doesn’t work for any other sites that I need to access and customer support is non-responsive. I have called, emailed, left messages…. Never any connection with a human being and no reply. Now collecting dust in a drawerWaste of $$$.

Stopped working after 5 months, no customer support anymore, they are neglecting us. Don’t buy!!!

It works!
Works excellent!I got the product really fast in the mail. I immediately plugged into my Iphone and started logging onto DoD websites using my CAC card.I tried AKO webmail, DFAS My Pay page, and Tricare Online.Note: You have to download the free Sub Rosa web browser app from the app store for it to work.

Returned...provided access but insufficient for viewing data
I purchased to be able to log in to government/military sites and email that require DOD CAC access.While I was able to access sites and email, the SubRosa app that must be used to make the reader work, did not have a browser interface that allowed me to scroll to read all page or email information.Great idea, if it worked.

Work but the App is glitchy
This work but the APP is kind of glitchy.

Worked with little setup.
Yes it was expensive, but when connected to the app it has worked great. Least challenging method of connecting to chip enabled email I have used in a year. Does need an extension to work with a hard shell case.

All military members be advised YOU NEED THIS!!!
Best item if you are military highly recommended and worth every penny!!!! Definitely a life saver!
