My seven-month-old mini aussie has chewed through every collar and harness we've put on her, and on her sister. Collars also never fit her quite well as she always seems to be between sizes, giving her just enough room to fit her jaw under her collar and gnaw it off. She's been wearing this new collar for over a week (a record, so far) and has not so much as attempted to chew at it. It fits her just snuggly enough to where she can't hook it with her jaw. I also think it's comfortable on her since she's not scratching at it with her back leg. She and her sister are very active and play-bite each other's necks, and the leather collar has held up just fine. I also appreciated the extra smaller ring on the collar where I can attach her tags-- that was a nice surprise. We'll see how long it continues to hold up.

Beautiful collar. Very sturdy, vibrant color and does not look cheap. It's a bit stiff but it will loosen up in a few weeks or so. I purchased a similar collar from a different company for a friend's dog and it was $30, and for the price, this collar is pretty much exactly the same but with a better price tag. Giving it 4 stars because one of the loops, the sewing was not done well and was coming apart so I had to re-sew it myself but not a huge problem. For reference, my pup is about 35lbs and she's wearing a size Large.

I have a 65 pound English Sheepdog who is active and loves to pull on the leash. My dog could never wear the plastic buckle collars because he can pull and lunge with so much force that the collar would snap open. This collar seems sturdy and comfortable for him. Would definitely buy again.

I have bought numerous collars for my dog, but most of them were not durable and didn’t last long. This collar on the other hand was a pleasant surprise. The collar is pretty thick and the stitching is very durable and has not loosened. If your dog is known for going through collars this collar should work well.

This dog collar is the absolute best I’ve ever bought. When our dog grew out of it I bought him a new one at the store simply because I kept forgetting to order a size up of this one on Amazon. The one I purchased from the store was the same price but my dog was able to wiggle it loose and slip out of it and got away. With this one from Amazon that simply isn’t possible and the piece of mind is definitely worth it!

Great collar, looks strong and good quality materials. So far it's holding up well to my two Pyrenees cross pups. They are pretty rambunctious and have ripped through many collars. My only negative is that it doesn't come in enough colors (like blue). I bought a tan and a red one. Add more colors please.

Ordered this collar to prevent the hair on my dog’s neck from being patted down. The color is very soft leather and seems comfortable on her neck. It is surprisingly thick which makes it a little stiff. My one complaint is that there are not enough holes to make it the proper size for her, but having it a little loose isn’t the end of the world. Because it is stiff we take it off when she goes to sleep. There is an extra loop for the name tag so it won’t get caught when trying to clip the leash. Definitely recommended. I got light brown because the underside is white and I was worried about the colored underside bleeding on her white fur. Just a precaution!

Nice leather collar. I got the red for my black lab mix Dyna Mite. She has lost every other collar we have put on her. With this one so far so good. I think it is a little heavier, wider and better made than the collars we have bought in the past. And it’s my favorite color —- Red.
