My daughter is 6 and loved this drone toy. After she was shown how it worked it was very easy for her to navigate. So I would suggest this toy for kids 5 and up. I believe kids need to have the attention span to play with this. My daughter is very busy and can move from activity to activity several times in an hour. This toy kept her engaged for a good half hour or more at a time.

My boys, ages 10 and 5, liked this toy. It was easily controlled by both boys. There was no need for extra batteries. The boys thought it was "really cool". The initial charge ran out quickly but after charging for a longer period of time, the drone flew for about 5 minutes before needing to be charged again. The lights worked great and were cool. I also liked that there was a cage around the propellers so the propellers were not easily damaged. We used this drone in the house and it bumped into furniture and walls but did not cause any damage because it was just a light bump.We also liked that it came with an initial charge. The initial charge only lasted about 1 minute while flying.

We had a different brand previously and the battery died, So I replaced it with this one. Not impressed with the differences. We do enjoy these general products for the kids (3-4yr olds), they love to chase them with pool noodlesPro: it has a remote, which our old one did not. You almost need one to manage these, especially with kids in the mix. Also nice for if you want to take it outside, you can cut the “engine” before it gets away from you.Cons:• The plastic on this one is super flimsy. It will only be a matter of time before our 4yr olds rip or tear it when they grab or smack it. Or us adults for that matter• There are only two sensors on this one, instead of the four on our others. You can see in the photos that the shell would support four but they cheaper out and only put two sensors in. The sensors are what keeps it from running into things, and also what it responds to when you use your hands to manage it. This makes this one so much harder to control, which takes a lot of the fun out of it.I will be paying attention more to the sensors going forward, you definitely need all four. But do appreciate the remote, we did not have that before and it is helpful.

I opened this up as soon as I received it. The sensors seemed to work great, and it seemed like a fun toy. I put it in the closet for a week, and when I tried it out again, the sensors were no good. I tried charging it up, but when I turn it on, the bottom sensor works a bit, then it stops working. When I try the side sensors, it seems like only one of them works. When it senses my hand, it flies away into the nearest wall. Fortunately, the drone is pretty tough and is built in such as way as to not cause damage to things it hits. Unfortunately, that's about the only redeeming feature I have found.Update: After trying the drone out some more, the sensors do all work, they just aren't as sensitive as I was expecting. I thought that I could sort of bounce the drone back and forth between my hands, but they don't seem to be quick enough for that. However, after it moves one way, it will stabilize and be ready for new sensor input. I will say, I think my favorite thing about the drone is how durable it is. With the rotors being within the external shell (unlike some other drones or helicopters I have tried), this unit will have no problem if it crashes into walls or anything else.

My son was excited to see the toy. He didn't immediately know what it was but was eager to find out. He loved it . He played with it for a while and then took it to show his friends. All the kids enjoyed chasing after it.Charge doesn't last long but it is fun while it lasts.

They asked to play with the drone right away.They were very impressed with the speed and hight the drone reached. The blinking lights made it even more exciting. They liked how it was small enough to fly inside as well as outside. There was lots of laughter and giggles during play. They enjoyed chasing it and holding their hands under the base to make it fly higher. They did say it was difficult to direct the flight and control, but that did not cause them to quit playing with the drone. The red central light helped them to know when it needed to be recharged. The only main disappoint they mentioned was that the fully charged battery only lasted for about 10 minutes of play before needing to be recharged (full charge took about 30-40 minutes.)

I was skeptical but after figuring out how it works my kids and I enjoyed it quite a bit. It's cheap though and for some reason one of the propellers doesn't spin any longer. Again it was cheap and who knows, I have a 2 and 3 yr old so they very well could've drueled on it lol. None the less it was enjoyable and used daily for about a month. So the way I see it for the price, we got our enjoyment out of it. People complained about there not being enough sensors, and again, it's cheap. You want more sensors or for it to do more than it does, you'll have to lay for it.
