This product worked beautifully. I was considering for a long time to be able to get the laptop image to show up on my TV. I am paying for cable and realized that for how little I actually watch it, I am paying way too much. I decided to investigate options when this cable came up. I wanted to have the experience of my Acer netbook on my Sharp Aquos LCD TV, not only the video but also the audio. This cable is perfect as it has the connection for both the RGA and audio with both fitting on my netbook and TV. I wasn't sure how the connection would be but after plugging it on both ends and setting it so the image only goes to the monitor (having the laptop screen and monitor together makes the image less sharp and jumpy) it was perfect. I had the same experience as my netbook but on the TV. I can now watch all the videos, surf the web and basically do anything I would in my tiny screen but now watching it on my TV and with the nicer sound from my TV speakers. I highly recommended this product and for this price, can't beat it. Now I'm waiting for my indoor HDTV antenna to see if I can get the local HD channels. If I can, then with that, this laptop to TV connection and subscriptions to Netflix and Hulu, I can finally say goodbye to the cable...well, I'll still keep the high-speed Internet so they won't be totally missing out but I'll be saving lots of $ every month!

I needed a cable to turn my HDTV into a monitor for my PC... After dozens of comparisons and websites, I came across this little ditty. The cable works as advertised. I had no problem plugging it into my TV or PC. After adjusting my display through my PC settings to be compatible with my TV display it was great. No issues. If I need another cable at any time for any of my PC's I would buy from this manufacturer and this retailer. The processing of my order and time of delivery were smooth with no issues. The price point was an added bonus as it was $30 cheaper than the average cables I found online and yet, it seems to work comparably to other reviews I read for more expensive cables. It's worth the purchase!

What can I say. It was a cable, it showed up pretty quickly and I have a good picture on my T.V. from the shows that I'm streaming on my computer.It's black. It's a nice shade of black. It was 10FT. and not just internet 10FT. It streams what ever I ask with out giving me crap. It hasn't come lose or giving me any attitude. It hasn't hijacked my computer. My only complaint is that it is apparently delicious to my pets,​ and they like to chew on it. So I would like for it to be less tasty.

if you want to view your PC, Monitor or Laptop on your TV here's the cable. Old computer and HDTV. My 2005 Dell has a VGA port (3 rows of 5 holes) and my Sony Bravia HDTV has many ports (HDMI, S-cable, etc) including the VGA. This cable is VGA to VGA with Audio plug-ins. This is the best deal I found for this plug, excellent quality, the sound and picture seems excellent.Cons: thick cable, 1/2 inch.This is my set up: Plug the VGA cable into computer's VGA port, connect the Audio cable into computer's audio input (where you would plug in your headphones), plug the other end of the VGA cable into your TV's VGA port. My TV also has an Audio input next to the TV's VGA port so I plugged the audio in there. I don't think the older TV's have the audio plug in.. if yours don't, message me and I will unplug mines and see what happens. So that's the set up. Now on my TV I had to go through the menu and find set-up, and choose PC (menu,external inputs). Now on my computer, I had to tweak some things like press F8 (some say F4 or F5) but it's what ever F that has the CRT/LCD feature printed on it. For me, it's F8 (held down Fn button and F8) and the computer screen showed up on my TV. You might have to got to your computer's Control Panel, Monitor settings and change the resolution. Then you should be done.

I have been using this cable for over 2 years now & it works great still. As stated in the description, it supports extra high video resolution. I watch 1080p content all the time & the quality is absolutely stunning. I'm more than satisfied with this Cable. 10ft length, support for high video content & Price are the striking features. A good price and a good product. No problem with it -- it works as advertised. Sound type is analog and quality is not as good as my alternate HDMI digital hook up, but then that is to be expected. I don't see much difference in video quality on an HDTV used for a monitor -- a pleasant surprise -- although available resolutions offered up by the PC are different. In some cases the HDMI alternate will not be available, hence this purchase.

This cable works just fine, and seems pretty sturdy and good quality. Shipping was really quick. I ordered another $2 item with it (that I didn't really need) and they forgot to put it in. I never got around to telling them about it, but I have no reason to think they wouldn't have corrected the situation. All in all, I'm happy with the cable and would order from this seller again due to the super-quick shipping. As far as I can tell: good product, good service, good value.

Does not work with my Samsung tv. according to the internet Samsung tv's are particular on what pins are grounded to trigger the VGA input, this cable does not have those pins grounded and this causes it not to trigger the input. i tried this and one other "premium" off brand cable neither worked and had same issue . however i bought a belkin cable the works perfectly and has no noise on the audio. save yourself time and get a different cable, belkin worked for me.
