This is small - like stocking stuffer small. My when for scale. However, it is good for older toddlers that aren't mouthing things yet. The colors are bright and I love the animal scheme.

This toy can be put together different ways and it's built extremely well.

This puzzle is cute but it's not appropriate for under 3 because the middle pieces are very small. I feel like at the age of 3 this would be too simple and mastered quickly. That said it's cute and I will supervise my grandson closely so he can play with it.

This product is listed for ages 1,2,3. However it is only appropriate for three and up due to choking hazard.It was misrepresented.

Very Cute little puzzle. The paint can come off a bit easier than others which is why only giving 4 stars. But the toy is adorable. My 17 month old boy loves it. He also likes to thread the outer pieces as beads.

5 stars except the center pieces, I felt , were way too small for a 1 ur old to play with.. perhaps there was an age recommendation and I missed it.. otherwise it’s a wonderful toy and love that it’s wooden.. I just have them play with the outer pieces for now..

Loved this little puzzle. So cute and the layered pieces make it feel more challenging than the other simple shape puzzles we have. My 2 year old likes talking about the animals & colors & shapes, but has a little trouble figuring out where the smaller shape is supposed to go.

As other reviewers said, the product is smaller than expected. However, it is very cute and with the designs and colors should be appealing to a toddler. The wood quality looks great. I think my grandson will love this toy.

We love wooden toys and this wooden puzzle hasn’t disappointed us at all.The pictures are very appealing to our 25 month old and so are the vibrant colours. The puzzle is a little hard for our boy but he is getting better as his understanding is improving. We will certainly hand down this puzzle in the family or sell later on when he is to old for it.The puzzle is small enough to take to the grandparents as well. There aren’t to many pieces neither so your little one won’t get overwhelmed.We can only recommend this wooden puzzle as we like to play with it.

Excellent puzzle & one of the only ones I was able to find of the same variety. Double layer puzzle great for shape recognition & orientation. Good quality & maintains child’s interest. One of my favourites & a favourite of many other toddlers. Would recommend from 18+months

Very cute and helpful with learning colours, animals, shapes and placement.

This toy/puzzle arrives covered in one layer of plastic only. It features four shapes (triangle, square, hexagon and circle) and four animals (fox, elephant, lion and bison).The idea is to put the shapes and animals in the correct placement on the wooden base; all the shapes/animal pieces are wooden too, as well as painted in bright and child-friendly colours. The wood is smooth and well finished.This sounds like a deceptively simple toy/puzzle and in many ways it is, but some skill is needed to get the shapes in the correct place and to then place the animal pieces the correct way around so that the features of the animal line up as they should.It is quite pricey at £15.99 (at time of review) but the quality makes it worth it, and I have noticed that many similar wooden toys and puzzles tend to be quite expensive. It's surely worth it not to have another plastic toy in the toy box. This would make a super small gift or stocking filler for a small child. I am happy to recommend.
