Don't question it, buy this knife.
Absolutely fantastic quality knife. I had read other reviews on Eafengrow but was skeptical of how good a $30 knife could be. Received the knife and was blown away with the build quality. Solid built and sturdy. It is a beast of a knife. Amazing edge straight out of the box. Comfortable ergonomics and feels perfect in hand. It does not have jimping on the top, however, with the grip shape and angle of the blade off the handle there is zero slip or play. The sheath is awesome and has such a snug fit that locks in place with zero play or wiggle, yet still releases the knife with ease when being deployed. This knife is an absolute steal at $30 and if it had a different name on it would easily be a $150-$200 knife. If you're looking for a good largeish fixed blade, grab this one and you will not be disappointed. Great work Eafengrow.

Great quality knife
Iโm not an avid outdoorsman or survivalist, but I do love to have a good one around for various tasks. This was hella cheap but it looked good so I gave it a shot, and Iโm glad I did. It feels heavy duty, itโs comfortable to grip, itโs a sleek design, and so far it seems like itโll hold up for the long haul. I donโt mind the kydex holster, but I donโt at all like the buckle for attaching it to a belt or pack. Itโs cumbersome and huge. But other than that, this was a good find.

Nice Knife
This is a nice knife for the price. There are a few draw backs but nothing major mainly just me picking at it but here are the main points First the proโs It has a good balance. The weight distribution is really nice. So if your hacking at branch it will do good. The knife is sturdy was hacking away with it and beating it up to clear brush and small trees. Conโs The knife dosnt come sharp youโll have to do that yourself but it will cut with enough force The handle is nice but for hacking at trees it will dig into your hand I would recommend wearing gloves

This knife punches way above it's price point.
This knife popped up in my Amazon recommendations. Normally I would say I purchase "middle of the road" quality knives where something like this would cost say 3x what this does. But the reviews looked great and the specs were too impressive for the price so I took a shot and ordered it. I figured worst case it would be a decent "beater knife". Then it arrived. To say I am impressed at the quality of the knife for this price is an understatement. Not just the knife but the scabbard is also of good quality. It retains the knife well and can be adjusted for various belt widths and is removable without taking the belt off. It carry's well and is designed in such a way that if you want you can rotate the belt clip 90 degrees and carry it horizontally. I have large hands and the grip could be bigger but I have had no issues holding or controlling the knife. It could use some gimping as it has none but for thirty bucks for a D2 blade I can shave with out of the box and G10 scales I can't fault it. As another reviewer said "Just get it". I certainly will be looking more closely at this brand in the future that's for sure.

Great value
Feels good in your hand, seems to hold an edge well. Like the sheath, good retention, easy to carry.

Super Tough Substantial best bang for the buck, Knife and sheath!
Amazing knife and sheath. I am a shop around Amazon fool, and I looked at every single knife, until I decided on this one. For $30 you can't beat it. The blade is sharp enough, impressive and actually dangerous looking. It definitely has a tactical feel. The handle scales and full tang handle, feel good in the hand. The tang is buffed nice and has no rough edges. The feel of the handle still is a bit rectangular, but you can change these scales out. Best bang for the buck going. The sheath is amazing and needs to be given 5 stars as well.

Meh...
Pros: Very comfortable handle Cons: Sloppy lopsided grind, not sharp enough, dull and lopsided tip to go with the lopsided grind. The sheath also was garbage and the knife could easily shake loose from it (which would be dangerous if it were actually sharp but this thing was barely sharper than a butter knife so in this case it wasn't that dangerous). I should have just returned this piece of junk but I gave it away instead. The person I gave it to can try to sharpen/fix the horrible grind on it or they can just use this thing as a paper weight. I have bought $10 SZCO knives with better fit and finish than this thing! I realize this was likely a fluke that got past quality control since I don't see too many negative reviews regarding the knife/blade/grind itself and most criticism I see is about the sheath. If you are going to buy an Eafengrow I would suggest you buy one of the newer models like the EF124 or EF125 as they are better quality than the EF122 and feature a better sheath. They are roughly $10 more than the EF122 but worth it.
