It's all wood but it's pine so it'll dent easily if not careful. Still beautiful and very happy with the purchase. Easy to put together and the hardware is good quality. They look very nice. They fit our decor in the living-room. Nice design. Just what we wanted.

This is a great bedside table. Love the honey brown color! Solid wood, easy to put together, looks amazing. Perhaps a bit short if you have a really tall bed, but worked great in my spare bedroom with a standard metal bedframe/box spring, queen mattress and headboard.

PLEASE NOTE: This review applies to all four pieces of furniture we purchased. This end table storage was the first we put together and the easiest piece with no "issues". Ok...read on.First, this is fairly decent wood and material. There were some minor imperfections in the finish but I expected that with the "distressed" finish. The directions were OK but could use some improvement in identifying which is front, back, etc. Some pieces were marked left and right; but front and back would also be very helpful as I'll mention later. And packaging was really good; we didn't have any damage to any of the four pieces we purchased. From other reviews I read, I think we got lucky there.Now, on to the OK and some not so good stuff. My husband and I are pretty good at working together, following directions, and assembling things which need assembling. We purchased four pieces from Simpli Home. The first, an end table, went together like a breeze. Next, the coffee table was fairly simple but with two mishaps: we had a divider piece turned around, and the hardware provided was for a chest of drawers and not a coffee table. We were able to purchase the needed wooden dowels from a local hardware store and use most of the other provided hardware. Unfortunately, the knobs were incorrect so I'm waiting for their customer service to get back to me. Third came the storage cabinet which my husband assembled all by himself with no problems. Finally, this beast of an entertainment center. After hours of assembly by two fairly qualified persons, we have one jacked-up piece of furniture. We had to un-assemble it to turn around the middle section when we realized two pieces were backwards. After reassembly and putting the hardware on, we then realized the end sides were also facing the wrong way so the front doors on the ends can't be mounted; the hinges won't fit. Finally, the directions aren't clear which way the bottom shelf of the flip-down section needs to be mounted; it looks like the side with the beveled out indentation for the hinges goes face up; but when we tried to mount the flip-up door, it's way out of alignment. We're not going to bother taking the whole thing apart just to turn around the two end pieces so we're going to leave the ends open; we'll make it work. We're also going to take off the flip-down door and leave that open, too. So, bonus, we can use the knobs from these unusable pieces and mount them on the coffee table.If you're interested in any of the furniture from this company and aren't fully versed in assembly, I recommend you find the extra $$ and opt for the pre-assembly option.

-The drawer front was drilled incorrectly. Looked like it was upside down relative to the drawer bottom slat. I drilled new holes to make it fit correctly bc I didnt want to mess with returning or swapping it out.-The rest of it went together pretty well. It's loose in some parts and you will need the recommended rubber mallet to fit others.-Wood is pretty soft so it might scratch easy.-Once it's built it is pretty sturdy and looks as good as it does in the pictures- They give you a whole bag of extra hardware and extra allen wrench which was nice-Its a little pricey but I'm not unhappy I have it. We will see how it holds up in the coming months.- A recommendation to the manufacturer would be to standardize the screw heads so you don't have to swap between screwdrivers and the provided wrench.

It’s relatively easy to put together. I normally take my time with these Kits and follow directions which in this case was simple and easy to follow (large print, good diagrams and in English).The table is well made and worth the price. The table arrived on time and in very good condition.

Super easy to organize all of my bedroom stuff to avoid clutters

I searched so long for nightstands and this product fit what i need perfectly by sight, solid wood, shelf on top, one drawer and it's not expensive...I was so happy about how it looks so I placed the order for 2. When they arrived, I was so excited to put them together. I'm a average handy person and I have put together our dinning table, bed frame, living room end table, coat hanger without any problem, and putting together this nightstand is a total nightmare!First of all, the drawer. 4 pieces of the drawer were put together by screws and then locked with a round metal locking piece. The locking pieces are supposed to be slide in and turn to lock super easy without using any force, but both me and my husband can't align them right. If you turn the lock pieces in with a little strength, they bend and if you try to bend them back they just directly break! Each nightstand comes with only one extra hardware part of each kind so if you break 2 pieces of the locking part...you are never going to put the drawer up...It took me one hour to just try to assemble the drawer and I was really frustrated by then, but it was just the start and the easy part.Second, to connect the middle horizontal board with the 2 side boards. The one I got probable have some alignment issue, so the side board and the middle horizontal board can't be lined up correctly, I have my husband hold them straight and I was tying to put the screws in. The angel that those screws are supposed to be put in is really wired, you can't even get the screw driver straight, and the hold the screws drive in only have a pre-drilled small hold, it doesn't have any build in metal part, I can hear the wood board start to crack when I put the screw in, I immediately back up and re-aligned the screw and tried again...I tried 3-4 time before I finally put those screws in and then we turned the side board up try to put the other side board, while I was putting on the other side board, the first one break off, the screws completely damaged the pre-drilled hold and they can never be put back again (see picture). I got so frustrated that I, a 33 year old, want to scream like my 7 year old daughter.I had enough so far I just directly packed this nightstand up and called customer service to have it picked up for return. I bought 2 and I did not even open the other one and just sent it back directly.If you a not an assemble master, don't buy this product!!!

Good value for money

We ordered two of the end tables. The first one was so easy to put together. The second one needed to be adjusted because the bottom shelf would not fit. My husband had to sand and inner corner in order to make it fit. Luckily my husband is handy and we were able to assemble it after he fixed it.
