This battery went in my Sony SVS151A11L. Fit right in and was recognized immediately. One of the least expensive ones on Amazon. So far, I'm happy. Can't comment on it's longevity because I just installed it.

I put this in my old Sony Vaio, and checked the charging light. It lit up for about 10 seconds, then went out. I unplugged the power supply, plugged it back in, the same thing happened. I let it go for about a day, then powered up the laptop on the battery, thinking that maybe the problem was with charging light. The battery ran out of juice after less than 5 minutes.I then put in the old battery, that no longer held a charge for long. The charging light stayed on until the battery was fully charged.So, this battery is useless. It will not take a charge. Apparently other people are having better experiences with the battery, but I say BEWARE.

Fit like a glove, battery life is as good as new and was the best price shipped on Amazon that I found.

the original battery in my Sony Vaio lasted ten years. this replacement battery lasted one year and two months. it is junk and gives Amazon Prime a bad reputation. am hoping Amazon will do something about this but so far no luck.

It stops charging at 50%

Not bad for the price. It works for 2 hours on light use.
