Nice poi for the price
I bought these for my son so that we could learn to spin poi together. The delivery time was about a week, so it didn't take long for them to arrive after purchasing. The LED lights come in a large array of colors, and were very bright at night. They look great while spinning! They are lightweight, but still heavy enough to get a good spin. The finger loops are a soft lightweight nylon, which is nice because it hasn't caused blisters on his fingers like the leather loops on my own poi set did to me. The only problem we've had so far is that the rope on one poi came untied on the first day we used them, and it was a challenge to thread the rope back through the ball again. (I had to attach a thin curved wire to the rope and pull the rope back through the holes, it was a big pain to do.) I tied it back tightly (or so I thought) but it came undone a second time the next day, and my son was really disappointed. This time, after re-threading and re-tying, I put superglue all over the knots so they couldn't come undone again. I suggest putting a big glob of superglue over all of the knots when your poi arrive to avoid having this problem in the first place. Overall, this is a nice poi set that looks amazing in the dark and the price is just right for beginners.

They're great for beginners
The light they make is awesome, also, this is the first time I practice with pois and hell did I hit me with them XD But they're so soft! (they hit me many times in the crouch at great great speed and didn't leave me unconscious... So they're great at not hurting XD)So, they're soft, the light is great and come with...6 different sequences (I think) BUT!!! The only reason I give them 4 and not 5 stars is the rope (rope?) one of them cracked after 1 hour of use (like I said... its my first time so I was hoping something like that...) but nothing that a little duct tape can't repair :) It would be awful if the led stop working or something... The rope is easy to fix.Anyway, you get what you pay and its an awesome product for that price :) Recommended for anyone who wants to start practicing with light, vivid and great colors :D

EVERYTHING BREAKS
I had to replace or repair nearly every piece of this thing and I'm not even through 1 set of batteries yet. First to go was the metal clips holding the poi to the split rings. By the time I got tired of bending the clips back into shape the split rings were already starting to look pretty bad, so when I put the split rings directly onto the poi they wore out within a week, I then switched them out for some higher quality split rings which have lasted since then (these should have been designed to expect more force than a key-chain).Eventually the insides of the poi were damaged after a few collisions while doing butterflies and the batteries, light, and dial would pop out after any minor collision, I eventually fixed this with superglue. After this the poi were usable for a few weeks, with some bending on the D rings holding the finger loops to the cord. Then on a spiral wrap the plastic loop on the balls just snapped off and sent the ball flying.I am highly dissatisfied with the low quality of parts used in this, for brief periods of time where it was usable without any hassle it was really fun to use. It's painful to see so much wasted potential. Also the original pieces made my hands bleed when I did spiral wraps.2013 edit: If the pictures are accurate it looks like they changed suppliers, the poi I received were hard plastic that were practically baseballs. The poi in the pictures are now similar/identical to the poi I replaced them with. IF I'm right then they're still sorta fragile but not nearly as bad. You can probably find them for less as well.

Great balls
These arrived promptly with a 'customer satisfaction' guarantee on a little piece of paper. So when I absolutely couldn't figure out how to turn them on [the choices are extremely limited!] I tried to call the number on the paper. No one ever called me back. However, a friend came over when we were getting ready to spin, and together we were determined to figure it out. After almost breaking ONE of them in trying to turn on light, we figured out that we were turning the ONE dial the WRONG way. D'OH!!! so anyway, they are GREAT. and they spin well, and I am really glad I bought them.

great product for the price
I've had these for about 6 months now. I use them almost every day. They are soft enough that they don't hurt as bad as the hard plastic type. The lights work well. Not a lot of settings but they are a lot less then the ones with more settings. No problems so far. I've whacked myself and walls. Still work. Great deal for the price. The leases are a bit thin but I knew that buying them.Update. I use these all the time and haven't had any problems. I some people say everything breaks but mine have been fine. For the price these are great for starting out to see if you like poi. The better quality ones cost $100. These are under $20. good starter set.

Fun LED Poi
These LED poi are fun and not as inferior as I thought they would be from reading the other reviews! They have six different color settings to choose from. A little button turns them on and off. Works perfectly fine. The finger strings work great too... they have not come apart on me.Only problem is user error - conking self in head when learning to spin them. A good sense of humor is required, especially if friends are watching you as you learn!I'm totally happy with these poi balls!

POI
The POI are fun, have cool colors and worked great at first. But, after a few days, one of the poi stopped changing colors. It still lights up though, just stays solid color. Other than the colors, they do work and they're a lot of fun. We don't have street lights where I live, and the stores are all closed by 8:00, so it's DARK here. The poi look incredible in the dark!
