Perfect for my 2 year old! He's learning how to pedal and the option to remove the pedals whenever he gets too frustrated is great. That way he can move the bike by walking his feet. VERY easy to assemble and definitely worth it!

I cannot understand who most tricycles are built for; my 2.5 year old cannot reach the pedals on any of the ones we've tried. This one is decently designed, the ability to transition to and from a balance bike is reasonably handy. If you only want one thing in the garage and your child is on the taller side, give this a try. But if you've got a petite rider, especially if they've already got a balance bike, give this one (and all tricycles??) a pass.

I really like this trike, I got it for my son for his second birthday, which is in a couple weeks, so he hasn't got to use it yet, but I've checked it out thoroughly. It is very solid and all you have to do out of the box is snap the handle bars on, no tools required, to transform it from trike to balance bike uses buttons, no tools, even the pedals just snap in. The only thing you need a tool for is to adjust the seat height which takes an allen wrench and it does come with the said allen wrench. I can't wait to see how he likes it and I'm almost positive he'll love it. For the price it's very intuitive and sturdy. Would definitely recommend for a first trike, especially since the seat is adjustable and it can be a balance bike as well.
