The worst purchase I’ve made this year. Would give 0 stars if I could
Bought this fireplace insert for our living room and had a professional install with all guidelines followed. We turned it on for the first time and within minutes, about 6, our wall got so hot it cracked- even with the non combustible boards surrounding it. The mantle (placed at the appropriate level according to the instructions sent) started dripping paint. The wall would have blistered your hand if you touched it. It was terrifying and extremely dangerous. Especially considering we have small children in the home. The seller was horrendous and basically said sorry, nothing we can do. After Amazon stepped in and helped I finally got half of my money back after I sent the broken piece of crap back. We now have a new fireplace installed that works perfectly- no thanks to this seller. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM. Or this fireplace.
