Fun puzzles and keeps you busy

I HAD A STROKE OVER A YEAR AGO AND THESE PUZZLES KEEP MY BRAIN ALIVE!!!

Just Difficult enough to be challenging, but not so difficult you get discouraged. I’ll definitely order volume two.

I don't know about all their books, but this one had a vulgarity in one of the puzzles. I do not consider myself a prude, but I don't expect to see God's name profaned in one of the puzzles.

Bought it as a gift, and she was very pleased.

A good way to pass time.

I don’t like the inconsistency of the puzzles; not all letters of the alphabet are used, so some puzzles use 20 letters, some 21, etc.

I cheated by finding a word in the answer section and concentrating on words. Just filling in letters throughout the puzzles was no fun. I easily solved them as there were so many of the same words repeated over and over. I completed the book in no time.

I'm really enjoying this book. There are some very random words, words I've never heard of. It doesn't bother me, adds to the difficulty and I'm learning some new words. There are some adult words used but nothing offensive in my opinion.

I have been doing Codewords with enormous enjoyment for some years, but this book is disappointing. Standard norms are flouted, one being the idea of using every letter in the alphabet; another being the inclusion of Proper Nouns (eg Cairo and Edam); and a third being the inclusion of many abbreviations (eg bro, MPH and mag). It may be the American way, but the sales blurb should reflect that. It is also a large format - nearly A4 - so is quite bulky to use.
