Your plants are going to love this!
With winter approaching, and limited light coming into my house, my collection of plants was really noticing the difference. I didn't want to spend hundreds of euro on a complicated setup that would require drilling into the walls or ceilings of my rented accommodation so I looked for other solutions. I came across this light and when comparing it to the others available I was sold. The white light it gives off is really calming, the strong clip holding it to my windowsill is low profile and tidy, the flexible arms are really easy to adjust or move when needed, and it has easy to use button functions (I have it on a 12 hour timer and it's always on when I start my workday, I even use it as a lamp sometimes!)I have been using it for 10 days now as I wanted this review to be accurate, and the difference it made to my etoliated succulents is incredible!Honestly, this is a must for your plant collection, the price is unbeatable and the item is extremely versatile!

Worrying quality
Disappointing quality! I bought these as I liked that they were flexible and portable. I did a lot of research before buying these as I didn’t want the purple (migraine inducing) colour lights. These seemed to have good reviews and were the ‘right’ light so I gave them a go. Having used them once, one of the lights arms stopped working and seems to have a loose connection as it now works intermittently, when it does work it flickers a fair bit too! Then yesterday as I (gently!) removed the plug the top pin snapped off in my wall socket! Although it’s a usb plug and I can use it with my iPhone plug I wouldn’t expect this to happen and am now very concerned to continue using them as I fear the quality of the electrics? I may just have been unlucky however I very much doubt their safety and quality so would not recommend

Easy to adjust position of lights
These lights are easy to work, the swan necks are easy to adjust so that you can control the height, spread and angle of the lights. They are very bright when all 4 are selected. You can reduce the brightness (4 tiers) however, this is achieved by the controller switching off one of the lights to achieve each level of brightness I.e. 4/4 lights is max then 3/4 then 2/4 etc. A slight problem is that when you wish to reduce the light intensity the remaining lights appear to flicker, which can be distracting if in the same room (so I am using it at the max setting for less time). My succulents and cacti have benefited from a couple of weeks of light bathing as their leaf colours are much richer. Overall does the job.

looks like daylight
I use this light for my cacti and succulents, the fact that it shines mostly white not blue or red as others do is a big bonus, it allows one to see the natural colour of the plants when it is on, the timer and adjustable strength are bonus's, would recommend.

Good Grow Lights
I bought these growlights over a month ago for my houseplants since in winter time, London (as we all know) is contantly covered by gray clouds. My tropicals were starting to look a bit sad so I made this purchase to make sure they stay alive over the season.I say it does the job. It kept my babies thriving and a lot of them even put out new growths. Plants with high light requirements such as my hoya and cactus didn't do anything but they weren't dying either. As you can see from my set up, I use it on a shelf with opaque boards so I only use 2 bars per set up. All the lights run on max brightness and is kept on a 12 hour timer. (Another good thing about this product: the timer works! I set it up once and I never had to touch it ever again...it turns on at 08:20 and goes off at 20:20 like clockwork). Even with this limited set up, it does the job. So I therefore conclude that this growlight is suitable for most houseplants. I've never owned those high-end industrial growlights before so I'm not in a position to compare them. However, based from my experience, you'll probably need a stronger growlight if you're growing cactus/hoyas (light loving plants) OR, you make sure that all four bars are focused on one area for max lux levels.

Brilliant
Great grow light. Plants are loving it. Easy to put up and manoeuvre the individual lights. Timer is a great function, just switch on once and it sorts itself out daily. Might have to get another one so I can have more plants 😀

LED grow lights look bigger than they are.
In all honesty I can't say that there is anything wrong with these LED grow lights, it does what it says on the tin... This is my view on the product:It provides much better lighting for my plants and I will be able to remove the fairy lights (or have that option). The goose necks stay in position provided they are the right way up, if the clamp goes on an upside down position the goose necks wont hold their position.Everything is too short: The power cable, the goose necks and the light tubes.I would have preferred the timer to have a clock or no timer at all, instead I have to switch the lights on at the our I want them to regularly come on (unless I misread, I need to experiment as it is my first day), I would rather split the time on between morning and evening so my plants have a longer day and I could do that with an external timer.I don't hate it, I will keep it, I might even get more, but I definitely need to rethink my plans. I was hoping to buy 2 for my four levels, one set on either side of my unit, instead, I need four to achieve what I had in mind...Back to the drawing board!

Ok
Up to now it seems ok but not very bright my plans are struggling to feed on this.
