There are a lot of newer style True Color Helmets on the market, but what caught my interest in this HZXVOGEN Welding Helmet was the Internal LCD display for setting up the different use modes. You don't have to try and interpret what a Knob setting is for Shade, Mode, Sensitivity or Delay, you just press a corresponding button and the internal LCD set-up Display shows you. The set-up remembers the Shade setting you set for for Welding and Cutting, it defaults to #4 Shade in Grind mode. It is a high quality manufactured helmet.This is by far the most comfortable helmet I've had. The back of the headband has a nice big pad that makes a lot of difference then other helmets. The manual has a good description of all the Helmet adjustments which are quite extensive to get a great fit for your unique head type. Makes all the difference in being comfortable while doing fabrication.These True Color Helmets do make seeing your work much better, which helps your welding performance, and the large size of this one doesn't give you tunnel vision.The one thing I found, was that pulling the battery activation ribbon out was a bit tricky. You just have to remove the Viewing module by sliding two tabs. Just pull the whole module out, similar to many other Helmets, remove the slide door that holds the battery with the activation ribbon. Then pull out the activation ribbon. I just found this easier than trying to pull out this battery activation plastic ribbon. Then the unit will turn on with the Mode switch.The Internal LCD display will go off after some period of time, but reactivates with the press of the Mode button.Unit arrived Double boxed and includes extra batteries , an extra Protective Lens and a fairly descriptive manual. It also comes with a very nice HZXVOGEN Helmet bag for storage, or when going to other locations.Overall this HZXVOGEN Welding Helmet is a great addition to my ever growing fabrication tools. I am looking forward to many hours of getting my projects done with it, and seeing what other products HZXVOGEN come out with.

I'm taking a welding class. This thing seems to pick up the welding from the person to my left and darken my lense. I haven't adjusted the settings yet. It's very comfortable and the settings are easy to adjust. I grind on the "cutting" setting which works a little better for me. Again, I haven't really concentrated on much more than the brightness level for the welds. It's well worth the money for me. I like the battery that this helmet has more than the solar

This welding helmet so far is very nice. I have used it for grinding, arc, tig, and mig welding. It has very fast response and is easy to program or change the settings. It is a bit heavier then my other welding helmets but not by much. This welding helmet offers a lot more comfort compared to others I have used in the past. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants a quality welding helmet without spending a fortune. Worth every penny!
