The center patterned material is an exact match but the outer section is a smooth cloth. Still looks and feels so much better than the worn seat it replaced. less that an hour to install. Most videos recommend full removal of the seat. A skinny guy (me) has just enough room to unhook the cover with a little bit of straining a few curses and possibly a tetanus shot. The rear plastic seat trim has two plastic tabs that hold the rear section. Remove front and side clips first and rear tabs can be accessed and popped out without totally removing the back cover. I have a 2012 Chevy 1500. This cover is an exact match to my black seat cover. I have yet to install it due to my new job, new home, and moving. But from what I have seen/read it will be about a 1-2 hour job and is ridiculously simple. The fabric and stitching is just as good, if not better than the original. I would highly recommend this for those of us who use our trucks and hate to see a torn seat.

Stock GM seat covering in the 2011 year range is junk. It wears very thin way too quickly. I've got a 2001 Chevy Tahoe with 240,000 miles and it still has the original cloth seats in it. No tears or thin spots. This seat cover replacement went on like a glove and matches stock perfectly. I'm very happy with this product.

We bought a 2012 Silverado 2500, the only flaw was the worn driver's seat bottom with tear along the side. Regular seat covers did nothing to help. I found this on Amazon. My husband was able to switch out covers easily. Matches perfectly!
