It's not tight enough to flip over though. **Q: Are there any chemicals inside the mold to make it non-stick? Or does it only consist of food grade silicone?** A: As far as I could tell it' is just silicon. There was no difference in the feel between inside and outside. Those cubes don't just pop out easily, you have to push them out by practically turning the cube inside out. Mine has been thru the dishwasher several times. I love the lids so the cubes don't shrink up so fast **Q: Can I use chocolate in the ice moulds ?** A: I have only used this to make ice. The mold is silicone so I would think it would work for chocolate **Q: Can you use this to store other cubes(say clear ones) that were made in another device?** A: The tray is very pliable silicone. Each cube mold is about 2 - 2 1/4" square. I use it for big ice cubes but you can put anything in them such as homemade baby food. I don't see why you couldn't store something within that size in the molds then in the freezer. Now that they are mixed I couldn't tell which ones leaves a film and which ones are good. I know I can probably just do a couple at a time, but during the summer, we just needed ice. We would quickly rinse the cubes and that didn't leave the film.Overall, this batch leaves a film on the ice cube leaving your glasses dirty, if when you push out the cubes and do it wrong, it's hard to get out, the ice does stay longer than the smaller cubes and it's easy to clean... except what is causing the film on the ice. Now that the weather is colder will probably try to figure out which ones are leaving the film and see what I can do to clean it.
