You just slide the roll of toilet paper on the metal roll that's beneath the holder where you can place your cell phone.

Q: How can i remove the tp holder and re-adhere it? it wiggles only a few days after installation.

I had no problem with the tape enclosed with it. For other things I haveI used Gorilla double stick tape
