These are really cute. The pack of 12 seemed like a lot, but one grandson (age 7) asked for a snow globe for Christmas. I found a Harry Potter snow globe for him and these, which seemed like fun. I have two other grandchildren so I divided them among them. I also bought several packages of various stickers for them to use to decorate the globe inserts. It was actually the other grandson (age 5) who could not wait to assemble them. He went immediately to work in the middle of Christmas Eve festivities putting his together. With his mom's help, water was added. Adult help is probably needed for this or guidance to make sure water does not get into the slot for the art. I think they would be a wonderful activity for a birthday or slumber party. Each child could make a snow globe or two to take home. They would also make a nice presentation for kids to put their photos in and give to nana and papa for Christmas. They went home with the kids, so I don't know how well they seal in the water long term. It is probably advisable to place them on a plate if the surface is sensitive to moisture. Each globe has a soft foam insert that friction-fits into the slot with a paper piece to face each side of the foam that can be used to draw on, apply stickers or used as a template to cut a photo to fit. I would definitely recommend this product for any child who likes crafts.

This is a super, super art project activity for children in a wide range of ages. I've never seen kids so inspired to draw and color!

This is a marvelous craft activity for adults and children. Everyone loves them. The bottoms were a little hard to get off and on, but manageable (They have a small groove in the bottoms). Just great. Highly recommend this activity. They would be wonderful for Christmas gifts.

The children love this, they are plastic and not to much work for the adult assisting.

Wish I had found these a few years ago! They are awesome!!! I have needed plastic ones for years. Also I love that each one comes in its own box. Great for gifting!

I bought this for my grandsons, 4 yrs old and 18 months. They both had so much fun coloring and we put stickers on the piece of paper they give you. They were fairly simple to assemble. It was a fun craft for them to do. This would be fun for a party or class to do, since you get so many in a case.

My daughter used them for a class craft [3rd graders] and it went well. They arrived unbroken and did not leak. She bought stickers and small items to put inside as there was not enough time to color the insert
