Q: I just received mine and if i’m lucky, it will work for one minute...usually less. anyone else having this problem? was i sent a faulty one?

100%! My wife recently purchased this unit and straight out of the box it will steam for a minute if we’re lucky. Most f the time it never steams at all. Very frustrating.

Q: Why is it shooting all the hot water out? The company won't even accept a negative review.

If you over fill it, when the water boils it boils out of steamer.

Q: What is the voltage of this unit? i need specifics as i'm traveling outside us.

It is 110V only. You need a voltage converter if you travel to other countires that use 220-240 volts. Last month I bought a voltage converter and went to London, it worked great. Here is the converter I highly recommend: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HMM4KZ2

Q: could I use this in a couch ?

I really don't know. I know it was able to get all the wrinkles out on a polyester shirt. Material on a couch is different from a shirt. The material on a couch is tighter than a shirt.
