Defining the Relationship: A Relationship Course for Those Considering Marriage

I attended a 9 week course with 3 set of couple's at my former church called HRock in Pasadena. Some of the pastor led the group and took us through this book. I personally love Danny silk and I also recommend his book Keep your love on.My boyfriend and I learned and touched topics that helped us really understand each other. This is a great PRE PRE engagement book. We also had the intention of marriage but this book will show you things you should discuss and learn about your significant other because making a lifelong commitment. One of the best resources I have found (along with the DVD teaching series) that teaches people of all ages (and in all stages of relationships) how to be powerful people who love well, communicate honestly, and build a marriage on a firm foundation. We use this in our church for singles (who can learn from the principles of healthy relationships, and apply much of it to their current friendships, and prepares them to make healthy, godly choices when they date), couples who are dating (it requires some tough conversations that can make or break a relationship, helping couples make wise decisions about whether or not to continue toward marriage), engaged couples and even those who may already be married. Danny Silk is a humorous, no-nonsense teacher whose wisdom has greatly influenced my life and relationships!

I went through this whole workbook and I'm giving it only 4 stars because it repeats itself a couple of times and isn't 100 percent easy to follow along with the do-it-yourself and couple reviews.

Best relationship series to date for singles! As a pastor I have had many married people go through it too. Very sound wisdom for those who struggle in relationships!

One of the best pre-marriage workbooks out there!

This is an amazing and insightful series. We are taking our son and his girlfriend through it and loving it. Recommend it to any couple. Great tools and great challenges.

I wish it had more. This goes with the Audio, but I think the workbook should have more. Pages seem kind of 'empty'The course itself is great though!

This book is fantastic to have alongside the dvd sessions. Brilliant content and plenty of room for self reflection and note taking in the book.
