We've had a Petsafe dog door for several years, but we installed a new patio door and it didn't fit due to the monorail track system on the new door.Pros: We love the double-paned glass because it eliminates the condensation in the winter. The solid door flap with magnets on all sides does a great job of keeping the door shut on the windiest days without making it difficult for the dogs to open (siberian husky & german shepherd). The knobs that lock the adjustable top section help to keep the panel securely in place.Cons: The price is very excessive, but that is what happens when there is no real competition in the market. The insulation provided with the panel worked between the panel and the door frame, but not between the panel and the sliding door. I ended up purchasing a thinner and softer strip that I attached to the panel and and also to the door to accommodate for the bump caused by the door latch. We use a charlie bar to keep pressure on the door so that the insulation strips will seal from top to bottom. The draft blocker strip that is provided for the other end of the sliding door also didn't work because it was too stiff. I purchased a much more flexible product that works perfectly. Finally, our biggest complaint is that the frame of the insert is hollow, so while we have solved the condensation problem on the glass, the frame is constantly sweating on the coldest days so either the water drips onto the magnets around the door flap, freezes, and creates problems with the door latching or it falls all the way to the bottom and pools on the floor if we don't wipe it up often enough. I might try drilling holes in the side and filling the space with foam insulation. This would be an easy improvement that the manufacturer could make that would help to justify the price.*Update 10/23/24Updating my score from 4 to 5 starts. The customer service from Endura Flap has been spectacular! The door is still working great after 4 years in extreme heat and cold, but the door flap is has worn out and the pivot washers at the top of the door flap have broken a few times, neither of which is not surprising considering the amount of constant use it gets from our two active dogs. However, they have always been quick to respond and send replacement parts through their lifetime warranty. This is a great company and a great product! 100% recommend!

4 stars for the overall process.... 5 star for the door itself.This door is quality and worth the money. It has worked flawlessly through the hottest summer in AZ history and I have had 0 issues with it.Reason for 4 stars though is this was my second door I had to order. The first showed up half built/disassembled and packaging was a disaster. So much so I actually said I didnt want to deal with a company that would send this poor of quality item which had clearly been returned and I opted to switch and ordered a different door. When you're returning a 50 lbs door the whole process of getting it to UPS and boxing it back up is a hassle... nevermind the lengthy refund process since the door $ is over the threshold required for review. But when the other doggie company door arrived the quality and sturdiness was cheap so I returned it and risked ordering this one again.The second time I ordered the packaging was still not adequate for the weight of this door resulting in a small dent.. unfortunately right where the two piece slide together. To avoid the return process for a third time now I fixed it myself which took a bit of work but eventually got them aligned and together.The install process is a piece of cake, two pieces and a quick bolt tighten and the door is together. I did purchase additional door insulant and the stuff provided wasnt going to withstand the AZ heat... more personal preference for something I plan on having long term. 3 months in and I love the door, as does my pup. Also love having the locking door blocker for security.Long term the quality choice will be worth the month and probably save me the difference in electricity bill alone. Having the magnetic flap actually does seal and is a nice touch.

Easy to install, fits perfectly, came with a good amount of insulating tape. This door is well insulated, fits right in to double sliding glass door. The dog opening size works well for our short wide 80 pound Labrador. The door could easily accommodate tall dogs as well. Well constructed from nice materials. The dog flap is very sturdy and closes well. Dog took a few weeks to get used to it, but after wedging the flap partly open for him (with a stuffed toy) a few times on the way in and on the way out, he uses it all the time now.

Well designed. Keeps the rain and wind out. Worth the price. You can’t compromise for a cheap product when you need it to preform over and over. Only negative is the instructions are nonexistent. You’ll need to figure out the install on your own, which may cause negative reviews, but if they update install this is a 5 star all day
